Looking forward to the next video. Plenty cranking power but low storage at 69AHr. I guess modern cars are designed to have their engines running at all times. I can't see that battery working for start stop engines.
I suspect that you're right about the "upgrade" to batteries. I came home with 12 grid tie inverters yesterday. Silly me. I got some broken panels too. working but smashed. I have a couple of ver low start voltage inverters now so I am going to try a pair of panels alone and see if it will run.
Yes I was wondering about that arrangement. Also using a small solar panel grid tie inverter to think its online. Could go two ways smiles or smoke. Thanks for your reply.
Seems to me like a simple software option would generate the AC without checking for synchronisation. I believe the problem to be drawing a load without a buffer. Wouldn't the load need to match the supply exactly?
@@ianhelsbyservices That's why it needs the multi plus Victron and battery to create an AC signal and a load through the charger or the power consumption, cheers
Hey Andy, hope you're doing well. I have no intrest in solar but always love your videos. Keep it up 😊
Subliminal learning, so easy, I'm currently processing more clay whilst the drying weather is with us, cheers

Ian, I suppose the lithium charges up rapidly, unlike a lead acid. There must be something in it beyond the weight saving, cheers

Owen, short circuit current test is your man here, pick the best and apply rule one of solar panels, cheers
Very interesting, thanks.
Cheers
Thanks Andy always helpful and informative. Looks a solid well built unit. Have you ever tried to use these units as a stand alone unit off grid?
Hi, no I haven't but I am lead to believe that this will work when use with a Victron multi plus battery system, cheers
