Bought an Easun solar inverter/charger from Powland last year. It failed after 3 months of use. Filed a RMA, waited, no answer, after a couple of months answer "sorry to keep you waiting", "shall give you decision soon", then nothing. So buy on your own risk, do not suppose the "one year warranty" is something real.
I'm using a Solax in Thailand. I'm happy with it so far. I also love the internet monitoring software that I have installed on my Android phone. The Solax allows you to pull the data from the Solax Cloud, or you can pull it locally from the inverter over wi-fi.
I would like to suggest to you to put affiliate links up to any inverters you think are worth the price. It would help you make some money and it would be great to have a direct link to prices/products you are referring too. Thanks alot for this video. I found it quite useful.

I have Chinese Solarrun inverters now 7 years old and still working like new. Very good price outdoor inverters 3 phase. Still half price compared with SMA.
I have 5 SMA Inverter since 2007 and they are producing. Last jear I bought a Chinese Inverter. in Summer he shutts down because he is to hot, in December broke the van, since he is down, the new van is not comming. I cant read mandarin. So i will buy a new SMA or Fronius.

I live in a region of Canada where the temperature can drop to -33 F (-35 c ) for up to a week with humidity levels over 60%. Bone chilling. ABB being Swedish has a comparable climate. How does cold affect your choice of an inverter that would be housed in a outdoor battery (insulated, not heated) shelter? Could be below frost line : four to six feet deep.
Incridable karthi - Hello, their are some batteries that integrate that have their own heating system. I do not remember the brand. Some of the information I have glanced is that for example the Inergy Kodiac or other li-on batteries can be discharged at cold temperatures but cannot be charged. I think that the different manufacturers should be able to answer this question. Some companies do not publish complete all the specs up front this type of information. Their is one company that impart’s different information according to your level of knowledge. They sell but they but also give much information. I think they are based in Maine. I also have a problem sourcing lithium batteries close buy. If I buy from the US I get hit with a min. 20% hit due to currency exchange rate. Their is an established store chain that supplies batteries item related to solar but base everything on the Trojan battery. But their is a store that is in a remote area, that also provides link to a company that does design and installation in remote areas such as hunting or phishing cabins. In some cases everything is flown in using airplanes that land on lakes (beaver or otter planes are used and renowned bush planes in Canada and the US). I have a cabin that is 120 north of a big city that is on grid. It can be raining in the city but -34F out there. With all the info I gathering, I want to design a solar-wind system. I cannot buy everything at the same the same time, but switches, buss bar, DC breaker box, fuses, cables,etc can be purchased incrementally without losing out on technology changes regarding panels, small wind generators. Sir do you know is it possible to use Chinese version of Huawei in Europe grid? Chinese has nb/t32004 stndard which is 50Hz. Our grid is 50Hz and not in list of grid codes for EU. I have a good price to buy 50kw unit which is 30-40% cheaper than from EU supplier, difference seems to be only in list of grid codes as it seems. If you can share any advice I would really appreciate any reply. Thank you

I have mentioned the prices of Hybrid Inverters that accommodate battery backup. They have charge controller built into them. They also have dual MPPT for two strings of panels
I dont know what brands you are talking about so I cannot say. Best for solar that are also cheap are deep cycle batteries from a brand called trojen. Tubular batteries are mostly sold in India and Pakistan

Those who say the chinese inverters is as reliable as SMA etc are living in a dream world - come back to me in 11 years and see how your systems are doing, SMA Sunny boy 4000 still pumping out up to 3.8kw on good days and has zero maintenance, not even bothered cleaning the panels generated 39.3 MeggaWattHours over the last 11 years.
It is a weird market. Where you live seems to be determining of what brands you can choose between. I know A lot of brands you mention but then Sungrow for instance I've never heard of. In Netherlands mostly Omnik, GoodWe and Growatt are ok working Chinese brands. But I suspect some might have models under a rebranded name in other locations. And then SolarEdge is a huge residental player as well (unfortunately). They are really expensive compared to string inverters, but installers seem to want to push those really badly.

Stronger Chinese solar inverters make a bad noisy on 1.5 - 4.0 MHz ranges including 1.8 MHz and 3.5 MHz Radioamateur low bands. We have an One at 500 meters away the EASUN 3,2 kW solar inverter, and that makes + - S 9 jamming noise for me on 1.8 MHz band all day long...Terrible situation for HAM's
You need to read more about inverters. This video is about on grid inverters which are inherently pure sine inverters totally superior to off grid pure sine inverters

Solis, Goodwe and Victron are not even on this list, yet you have some inverters that are not even available. Stop using market research from 2008 and 2013 thats just bonkers. You need to pay for the market data from 2019 from a notable research company. Also you should be breaking down inverters by residential, residential storage, commercial, commercial storage, and utility.
3/4KW inverter should not cost more than $50. What the hell those companies are putting in those circuits? Components today are so cheap and advanced that it all seems like rip-offs.

SMA, Fronius, Danfoss and most of the european inverters simply cannot be compared with chinese products which are ridiculous copies. If you keep in mind that the return time for solar installation is about 10 years you wouldn't buy chinese unless you got some bribe from their seller

This is exactly what is current trade war between China and USA is all about . USA dreamed earlier that they would lead world in innovation forever but now Chinese are ahead of USA in Ai tech and it can be easily seen that in future there is nothing which Chinese can't produce .so westerner are in panic mode . Yeah most warranties are useless on most products, it's all junk made in China these days.

It is a reasonable system. You could have gotten away with 4 KW inverter too. Although with 5 KW you would make most out of your panels
There was no information on which models are pure or modified sine wave as per the checklist at the beginning.

True. Sungrow is not known in UK too where I am based. In fact Growatt is more popular. The brands selected were based on worldwide sales numbers

If Battery is C20 rating you can charge with 15 Amps or if it is C10 rating you can charge with max 30 Amps but better to go with low Amps.

The mpp solar pip 5048 has much more advantages and features than a Magna sine that costs over 5000$ ... And it runs without batteries .
