Great room tour! This is so much better than the old decor. I really hope DVC continues changing out the sofa beds to murphy beds as they update other resorts in the future. One of the big drawbacks for us with a lot of the studios and 1 BR's is that you really only get one actual bed.
The refurb at Saratoga has some of my favorite rooms on property. For a vacation where you just want to relax, this is POSSIBLY my favorite resort.
Stayed in a refurbished room. The Murphy beds are a great improvement over the pull out beds! Love the new furnishings. Nice job Fiasco!

NOW WITH KEURIG MACHINE!!! - I watched reviews before my April 10th 2022 Trip. We bought loose coffee thinking there would be only a Mr. Coffee Machine. (I checked many other blogs, no one had seen them yet) Our preferred 3 bedroom room had a Keurig Machine! As the sole Decaf drinker of the group, I want you to know that if you also need a Keurig for your one cup while the rest of the group drinks full caffeine - this now exists. They also stock the room with some k-cups.

It is a nice Villa. My only problem and the reason I will not stay is the location of the resort. I am not saying do not stay, the resort is not for me and my family. I like the resorts that are close to everything. This is the reason why I am not staying at AKL either. If the resort was close to another park or if there was more transportation other than the buses or that the boats stopped at more places than Disney Springs, then I would stay here in a heartbeat.
Great tour and revamp of the old rooms, the bathrooms are a little underwhelming but still an improvement.
So beautiful! I am kind of surprised there is only a stacked washer/dryer in this Grand Villa. We had a full washer and dryer in a laundry room at OKW when we where there two weeks ago. It was so nice to clean a full load for four people without having to split it into smaller loads or run the dryer extra long. Just seems so small for accommodating 12 people, but a very minor inconvenience.
Absolutely beautiful! And that view out the window just makes me relax instantly.
Stayed in a refurbed deluxe studio at SS as a last minute stay in October and we were wonderfully surprised. We never considered Saratoga Springs before but really loved the style and decor so much, we are now considering adding on to our DVC points with a SS contract. Highly recommend staying here especially after the hustle and noise of the parks. Sophisticated and quiet!

SSR was due for a refurbishment, looks like they did a good job. Looks new, clean, and modern. It might not scream Disney, but it might fit in with the New York Saratoga theme ? The refurbishment definitely increases the value of SSR though. Thanks for the video can’t wait to see your next video.
We stayed there 2 years ago with two of our daughters and their family’s before the refurb, this looks great! Tom and Maureen LINY
I am in love with the new color scheme. I would absolutely like to know what are the exact brand and names of the colors used. I saw some taupe walls, vanilla accents, but then some bedrooms seemed to have vanilla walls with an accent wall with a hint of green. I feel like I was seeing hints of the original paint shades in an updated hue.
This refurb looks incredible! Would definitely be happy staying here

Not sure if they are showing it. You may need to twist Pete’s arm to make a reservation there. We did a split stay and stayed 3 nights at BLT Grand Villa overlooking the lake to end our vacation. It was breathtaking.
Nice refurb! I hope DVC keeps replacing the sofa beds with Murphy beds in future refurbs. Such an upgrade!

Beautiful villa. The living room area looks great. The last bedroom with the green walls was nicest. Love the equestrian elements throughout. I liked the old colour scheme with all the green.very calming and relaxing. the refurbished rooms look a bit too bright and white. almost too cool and lacking warmth... more natural wood and green would make the rooms feel more comfortable year round.
Loved it, and we just bought add on points at SSR! This grand villa is not too bad on point usage either
I hate the fact that they took out the Jacuzzi hot tub I used to love those

I can’t seem to find a map to show where these are located on site at Saratoga. If anyone can point me in the right direction?
Head to the DVC preview center and ask to see a Grand Villa - as long as the guides arnt all booked up you can do a tour! You can also call member services and ask to set up a showing in advance

I love the refurb. It's just the layout of the GV that I don't love there. Others feel more open and conducive to a large group visiting together.
Beautiful decor, love it .... not keen on a bathroom being right off the kitchen tho, design flaw imo. Would have to put a rule on that bathroom ... don’t want obnoxious smells whilst I’m prepping food
Do all of the 3 bedroom villas start on the ground floor level?
It’s good but the treehouse is just better
I can understand a young family with in-laws in there. I would rather have I want bedroom or even studio and separated from a large group.
How many points would you need for this one, and how much per point?
This room has a low of 63 points per night (thru mostly September). If you wanted to stay here next week it would be 96 points per night. Many times during the year it’s between 70-78 points per night as well. Christmas Day is 126 for a high point per night.
I stay in studios. They have also been re-furbished.
"White-on-white" does not say "Disney" to me.
I love Fiasco's idea of using closets as bedrooms!
