Saratoga Springs - Renovated 3 Bedroom Grand Villa - Room Tour - Refurbished Room

- This is a room tour of the remodeled 3 bedroom grand villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort! This room was renovated very recently and looks so much better than the old design! We love the clean, crisp look with little Disney touches throughout.
Currently Congress Park is the only building that has completed remodeled rooms. This building is in the preferred section of the resort. The full remodel will take a total of a year and a half as Saratoga Springs is a very large resort. You can request a remodeled room; however, since there are only so many of them, it's not a guarantee you will get one.
This room sleeps up to 12 adults and has three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The view is of Disney Springs, and we're sure it looks even prettier at night with all the lights on!

I’m pretty sure we stayed here when it opened and were pretty underwhelmed but this remodel is nice. The plug sockets integrated in the furniture and lamps is genius
SSR is our home resort, we stayed in one of their 3 bedrooms with our family in 2018, thought it was lovely then but so much more now! Love the new hardwood flooring that replaced the ugly plaid carpet! Light and airy, beautiful, thanks for sharing!

We stayed at the renovated rooms in Saratoga Springs (in the Paddock though) in Feb 2022 and we CANNOT say enough about how much the update - as well as the incredible reinvention of Disney Springs - have transformed this resort from an "also ran" to a "must stay." Especially for a stay with adults, the new, classy rooms as well as the walkable proximity to the Springs, make this one of my personal faves, and I hope others enjoy as well!

Lucky you to be able to live at Disney for a year. Your videos are wonderful and very informative. I love the newly remodeled rooms. I am glad that they took the rugs out because it gives it a cleaner feeling. I also love that the beds were raised to help keep the rooms less cluttered. NOW WITH KEURIG MACHINE!!! - I watched reviews before my April 10th 2022 Trip. We bought loose coffee thinking there would be only a Mr. Coffee Machine. (I checked many other blogs, no one had seen them yet) Our preferred 3 bedroom room had a Keurig Machine! As the sole Decaf drinker of the group, I want you to know that if you also need a Keurig for your one cup while the rest of the group drinks full caffeine - this now exists. They also stock the room with some k-cups.
Love your channel! Am I the only one disappointed with the remodel? I watched both your pre-remodel tour and this tour back-to-back. I loved the rich wood and classic furniture of the older version. I also loved the romantic jacuzzi tub that opened to the bedroom. The old one seemed like a gorgeous livable classic townhouse. Guess that's just me. I did like the murphy bed and decorations.
In person, the old rooms didn’t feel as clean or fresh. Especially the carpet. It was a huge change they made, and this one definitely had a much more modern feel, but a remodel was definitely due for these rooms.

First video on TH-cam of a refurb and first images including photos of a 3 bed anywhere on the web- well done. Can you video a 1 bed and studio? These are the best refurbs of any rooms DVC has ever done, and Saratoga now has some of the best rooms on property. The 1 beds are also the ONLY rooms on property aside from Riviera with 5 proper sleep surfaces (no sofa bed, proper Murphy bed instead and mini Murphy under TV). Saratoga is now a go to resort for families wanting 5 proper sleep surfaces in the 1 bed. Well done DVC.

Groot We don’t know. We were supposed to get the video yesterday or today, but they ended up booking up and couldn’t let us. So we’re supposed to go back Monday and Tuesday to see if we can get them then.

This grand villa at Saratoga used to scare me cause the curtains were so creepy and the room was so ugly I'll stick to old key west even with the renovation.

I'm guessing Boardwalk was the last resort to be remodeled that kept the Jacuzzi style Tubs in the Villas. I do LOVE the Murphy Bed though, that's really cool.
Copper Creek also has jetted tubs too, and it's newer than the Boardwalk remodel. So we're not sure how they decide who gets them and who doesn't.

Nice rooms! Needs a little more color though. Pretty cold looking but I guess that's the modern look these days. And I wonder if those wood floors will be noisy if you're underneath them in another room. I guess I'll find out when I come home! I'll miss my jet tub! :(. Thanks for the video! You did a great job!

Hey David! The gimbal is the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 (we were using the 2 until a few days ago) and there's a link to that in the description. The camera is just an iPhone Xs with the stock camera app. :)

Hi we have reservations for a grande villa 3br 3/2020. No chance it will be refurbished? The refurbished look very clean. Thanks for any info you can give me. Do large Villas typically typically have ground level entrance? I love that huge window you showed.
Most of not all of the grand villas are on the second/third floors. It depends on whether it’s a standard or preferred room. Preferred rooms are being done first, so since most of those are done, there’s a good chance you’ll have a refurbished one. Standard rooms haven’t been touched, so those won’t be refurbished at all.

I just found your video. We will be at SSR and a Grand Villa in Congress Park Sept 2020. The remodeling looks great. Any idea how far the construction progressed before the shutdown?
They were very near the end of finishing the preferred rooms last time we were there which was shortly before they closed. All of Congress Park has been finished though. 😊

They have started on them. They are working on The Paddock but have not finished any at this time.

Touringplans.com would have that info. We don’t know the square footage. It has 4 bathrooms.

We were told they're working to finish all of Congress Park and then move to Springs. The cast member said that can always change, but as of now, the preferred sections are all supposed to be the ones being finished before moving to standard.
Is the remodel complete?
No, the refurbishment is scheduled to be complete at some point in 2021, but we don't yet know how the shutdown will affect that timeline. The "Preferred" buildings in Congress Park and part of Springs were complete before the shutdown, but they still have all of the "Standard" rooms to go.
can a person who is not a DVC member stay in one of those?
Yes. The studio, one bed and two bed can be booked on Disney’s website. For the grand villas, you normally have to call in because they often don’t make it on the website.
The murphy bed is so cool pull out beds KINDA SUCKS N THEY ALWAYS SEEM DIRTY SORRY TO SAY THAT !! DOES ANYONE ELSE THINK THEY SEEM DIRTY?? LET ME NO PLZ
Many of the rooms have been remodeled in the last year or two, so the pullout beds are newer. They also usually have a cover on the mattress as well as the sheets. The older pullout beds that haven’t been remodeled can seem “dirty” but Disney works hard to keep everything looking nice and keeping it clean, so it’s not often you’ll actually find a dirty pullout couch because they replace things when they break or become dirty.
