Sonet Gt variants with red inserts looks and drives so cool.. Wait for it guys..if it's not available in your area.. And Black looks like a beast

Excellent 1.5 engine, not turbo so highly likely to last longer, and good gearing with 6 gears - great for 120kph + in South Africa. Note that the Suzuki Brezza /Toyota Urban Crusiser etc were designed and made in India, geared down for their 100kph speed limit, so with theier top gear (they only have 5) you will be doing over 4,000 rmp at 120 kph - moere fuel, more noise, more wear and tear. Hence, love this Kia Sonet!

I believe there's a new trim line coming sometime this year or early next year that has cruise control and maybe a sunroof (can't remember, but saw somewhere on the Kia Facebook page)
That’s the GT line! It’s amazingly stunning, not sure when it’s coming but I’m hoping to get it to compare if i do. Check the Indian TH-cam reveries because it’s launched in Asia and not here

Such an interesting ask, I haven’t driven the eco sport but i have seen many and for the price and the driving experience I feel that the Kia Sonet is the best offer in the compact SUV segment especially in the R260K price here in South Africa
Like you said considering upgrading from a polo , just sad the T-cross is so expensive.
Yes I feel the t cross is expensive and this is a 1.5 litre and the t cross is a 1.0

So many people ask but no unfortunately that model is not available in SA, not sure if it will arrive but i promise you this car is still so good without it!
Check out Sonet Gtx plus diesel automatic with 1.5 L VGT engine.. Best for enthusiasts and fuel efficient

Hey, it has two airbags for the front and no curtain bags. It has both PVC sensors at the rear and a clear reverse camera. The quality of every bit of everything contributes towards the drive as a whole, it feels more premium than other SUVs.

I’m not too sure hey. There are four models in the current line up available in South Africa 2 manual and 2 auto, the LX and the Ex versions. No word on the GT line from Kia as yet

Looks mal how does it drive in the wind Korean cars normally become yachts in the wind and it gets tiring if you take it on long distances

Sorry I thought I mentioned it. 7.2litres per 100km’s but I actually felt it was closer to like 7.6 or almost 8. Absolutely loved this car, very good all rounder
