Kang HyungHo (highest tones) aka PITTA is rock singer, in a rock band since college, and currently solo on the rise as a top notch singer-/songwriter. He has loved rock and metal since his youth, and has measured himself in vocally demanding songs from these genres. As a result, he has an extremely well-developed head voice and excellent breath control. With a vocal range of at least 3 1/2 octaves, he has a very flexible, crystal clear unusual timbre from angelic to metallic sharp to outstanding rock grit. I have been to the Forestella concert twice in Korea and I must say it was an amazing experience. These guys are professional and they put in a lot of time and effort into perfecting their art. They practiced and did the sound check for hours before the performance. It was a great experience to be able to attend their concert and I’ll do so again the the future. I also saw them live in California last January (2023). When Hyung ho (last name is Kang) performed Phantom of the Opera I don’t think I breathed the whole time! When they sang Bohemian Rhapsody-seriously they are just like what you see and hear in their music videos. I am looking forward to the day they come back to the US (with Woorim) and can perform at one of the larger venues with a live band!
We were fortunate to see Forestella in California last year. They opened with this song. We were stunned at the power and quality of singing. Simply phenomenal group! Never experienced anything like this . I have watched Pentatonix live as well. I have to say I like Forestella’s way better. The only improvement I hope to see at the next Forestella US concert is them singing with a live band. Hope they can afford to travel with their band. ❤ Forestella!
They perform with live bands in Korea!! I have been in Forestella concerts twice in Korea and once in Vancouver. I heard it costs a lot and has some difficulties to bring the whole band to the US. I hope Forestella gets world-wide famous so that they could do whatever they want to do, including world-tour with whole their live bands!
I really do hope they are able to do that. Or hire a local band. I watched Sohyang and Jung Dong Ha sing with a live band. Hope Forestella is able to afford it soon.

I saw them in Atlanta! It was amazing. I had just found them and bought tickets on a whim. I hadn’t even heard half the songs they performed at the concert, but I loved every single one, which never happens. The only other artists that I can say I love all of their songs are Dimash, Zhou Shen, and Ayunga.

I've seen forestella more than 50 times by now and let me tell you.. they never disappoint. Even after this many times I still get goosebumps every time and champions live. EVEN. BETTER. trust me. Just the feeling when you're actually there is overwhelming. I really hope they'll do a tour again when Woorim is back!! Recommend you check out Kang Hyung-Ho singing Phantom of the Opera. There are two early versions. One when he was first auditioning. (So, the one with no vocal training). 😮 Then there is a slightly later one after a little vocal training training. 😮
@@pittajoah I have to admit Ko WooRim's voice is the one which hits me. But, Kang vouce is something extremely rare (perhaps even rarer than WooRim's). And, as time has gone on, I genuinely love each of their voices, individually for their own strengths and their ability to blend.
In particular, Kang Hyung-ho is more active as a rocker as a band team and is releasing a new song. The latest song is "This Song," but I recommend the live version of the performance. I'll call you the link right away

The intro part is from UEFA Champions League theme song in French, German and English which brought the melody from UK coronation anthem Zadok the Priest by Handel. Forestella mashed it up in the intro but the main song is Jo SuMi's Champions which was one of 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup anthems. Funny thing is Jo SuMi's Champions is much more well-known to Korean people unlike the Champs league theme much more well-known to westerners (and football fans all over the world). If you give a try to listen to Jo SuMi's original Champions, you would understand how well they mash-up those songs. This song is one of their must-hear-in-live songs which has a big gap from what you hear in the videos. When I heard it for the first time, I couldn't help but giving standing ovation immediately. Another must-hear-in-live songs; Moonlit Night of Shilla, Parla piu piano, Unwritten Legend, We are the Champions, Lazenca Save us, Save our lives, etc. Actually every song sounds better in live, these were more surprising to me like dramatically.

The place where they perform is the Oscars in Korea. Korean actors often ignore the singers performing at the ceremony and do not respond intentionally. This has received a lot of criticism. I also saw them live in California last January (2023). When Hyung ho (last name is Kang) performed Phantom of the Opera I don’t think I breathed the whole time! When they sang Bohemian Rhapsody-seriously they are just like what you see and hear in their music videos. I am looking forward to the day they come back to the US (with Woorim) and can perform at one of the larger venues with a live band!
We were fortunate to see Forestella in California last year. They opened with this song. We were stunned at the power and quality of singing. Simply phenomenal group! Never experienced anything like this . I have watched Pentatonix live as well. I have to say I like Forestella’s way better. The only improvement I hope to see at the next Forestella US concert is them singing with a live band. Hope they can afford to travel with their band.

They perform with live bands in Korea!! I have been in Forestella concerts twice in Korea and once in Vancouver. I heard it costs a lot and has some difficulties to bring the whole band to the US. I hope Forestella gets world-wide famous so that they could do whatever they want to do, including world-tour with whole their live bands!

Saw these spectacular young men live, in Atlanta, Georgia on there first North American Tour. Yes they are amazing in person. All I can say ,is there is no way to describe the experience. I have been in awe of there talent!

I saw them in Atlanta! It was amazing. I had just found them and bought tickets on a whim. I hadn’t even heard half the songs they performed at the concert, but I loved every single one, which never happens. The only other artists that I can say I love all of their songs are Dimash, Zhou Shen, and Ayunga.

I've seen forestella more than 50 times by now and let me tell you.. they never disappoint. Even after this many times I still get goosebumps every time and champions live. EVEN. BETTER. trust me. Just the feeling when you're actually there is overwhelming. I really hope they'll do a tour again when Woorim is back!! Recommend you check out Kang Hyung-Ho singing Phantom of the Opera. There are two early versions. One when he was first auditioning. (So, the one with no vocal training). 😮 Then there is a slightly later one after a little vocal training training. 😮

The intro part is from UEFA Champions League theme song in French, German and English which brought the melody from UK coronation anthem Zadok the Priest by Handel.
Forestella mashed it up in the intro but the main song is Jo SuMi's Champions which was one of 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup anthems. Funny thing is Jo SuMi's Champions is much more well-known to Korean people unlike the Champs league theme much more well-known to westerners (and football fans all over the world). If you give a try to listen to Jo SuMi's original Champions, you would understand how well they mash-up those songs.
This song is one of their must-hear-in-live songs which has a big gap from what you hear in the videos. When I heard it for the first time, I couldn't help but giving standing ovation immediately. Another must-hear-in-live songs; Moonlit Night of Shilla, Parla piu piano, Unwritten Legend, We are the Champions, Lazenca Save us, Save our lives, etc. Actually every song sounds better in live, these were more surprising to me like dramatically.
If you sing well, you're like listening to the CD.

The place where they perform is the Oscars in Korea. Korean actors often ignore the singers performing at the ceremony and do not respond intentionally. This has received a lot of criticism.
