On our last trip to Norway we had to unexpectedly take this ferry because the road out over the mountains had closed .... a great voyage...even if we hadn’t planned it....
Thank you so much for another excellent video. I was particularly interested in this one because coincidentally I have been watching the Geiranger webcams on TH-cam over the last few weeks. You can't see over to the local ferry quay on those, so it is really nice to see what goes on there. That ferry's bow has seen better days I think?
Ha ha! I see, well in that case I should cut it some slack. Actually, I must say I prefer the design of these older vessels. They seem to have more character.
altho super beautiful , i would not want to live there, all those cruse ships belching smog with no place for it to go except down on your house. maybe if the cruse ships anchored somewhere else and ferried the tourist in. oh well everythings a trade off of some or another.
A strange selection of seating on the ferry with picnic benches and plastic chairs. On Scottish ferries the chairs are permanently fixed to the deck ,partly to stop them blowing across the deck!

There is no need for fixed benches/chairs. Also during winter in Norway, the ship is laud up, and the chairs are hidden away from snow etc.
