  • Many states out West have seasonal fire restrictions. But propane fire pits are allowed year round. Here's a quick how-to on how to make your own DIY ammo can fire pit. It's simple to do, inexpensive, doesn't require many tools, and doesn't take very long at all.

    Awesome job! I just picked up parts to start building mine. Have you run into any issues not stripping the paint from the ammo can?

      I'm actually about to do a follow up video. The paint does burn off in one spot. I considered painting it with high tenp paint first, but didn't bother. I plan on painting it shortly. I also plan on drilling a couple air hole inlets in the bottom as well.
