- This is technically those Summer Job AUs in AO3! :) I haven't watched the show since the last Gravity Falls reaction video I made, so I apologise for the OOCness 😔 Also no matter how much I watch SU, I still have some doubts about my knowledge about the events, so forgive me again for the inaccuracies 😭 Anyways here are some reference fanfics of the AU:

The only differences here are that:
They don't know about Steven's Gem related stuff
Ford and Dipper are only a teensy bit suspicious of Steven, but they think he's nice
Steven got hired a week before the twins arrived, so when they entered the Mystery Shack and saw a random man in the kitchen making breakfast, they fr fought him lmao. Ford explained to them he was an employee and Stan prob watched it all go down 😭
They know about Connie sword fighting!
Ford knows a bit about the Gems and Diamonds
They recently told Steven about the supernatural stuff before this reaction video. Steven wants to tell them about his Gem stuff too, but thinks they'll think of him as a monster and didn't want to trauma dump since they already had a lot on their shoulders :( (ANGSTTT I CRAVE IT)

Every so often I come back to watch this video, I’ve done this one 4 times and then I figure out you made the Glam reaction video too! Honestly, it’s amazing how you’re able to maintain the quality of the video while also keeping the run time long. And every time I watch, I notice little details like the kids pupils turning into stars when in awe. Or Ford being knowledgeable on Crystal Gems because of how many universes he’s traversed. While also not knowing what they look like because he’s never seen them in person. He’s also the quickest to snap out of shock out of all of them. I just love everything about this video, you’ve out done yourself!

Gems are artificial constructs, as in they are created with direct purpose, to where they can also be created imperfectly; point being they aren't of a natural creation and are meticulously brought into existence through their technology, which means they can also be purposefully changed, supported through the gems powered in gem constructs like that upside down pyramid and other examples seen throughout their adventures.

It’s still her gem, a part of her still lingers in it, in the form of its original purpose(seeing how it shifts between the forms of her life, it has her figure in its formative memory) but its entire purpose has been shifted, to be a part of Steven.
