I have the silver 2005 Fatboy Screamin Eagle CVO and enjoy everything about it, and have no plans of ever getting rid of it...Only down sideI can think of with the 05's,is the Cam chain tensioners the factory instalad were POS that cost a fortune to have replaced if you have a shop do the work...think I was out close to 2K having mine swapped out with the Screamin eagle hydraulic tensioner kit, that came with a new screamin eagle oil pump...other than that, the bike is a dream to ride

Yeah, those tensioners were a pain in those earlier twin cams. I had a 2002 and luckily I didn’t have an issue.

I own a '05 Fatboy now, bought from new in January 05. It's a stock motor with Scream'in Eagles mufflers. I've had a few early model Harley's & this is my last. ( don't like the look of the new look Fatboys). My impression of my Fatboy was the last of the FL look. I'm a 65 yr old Biker from Australia. Love my Fatboy. Thanks for your content. Live 2 Ride

On yer Aussie. I also are Down Under and it is time we had a Fat Muster. I did 320,000kms on a 93 Fat, with a sidecar. That was then, my life crashed. Years later, traumatised, suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression and OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), as I earned and saved, I spent. A 97 Fat first. About 2012 I bought that, and then most recent purchase was a 94 Fat in 2022. So in 10 years I bought 5 Evo's all Vivid Black. 3 Fats and 2 Heritage Classics. A 2000 Ultra, a 2001 Ultra with a Sidecar, a 2007 Fat, a 2005 Screaming Eagle VRod, a 2004 Black 883 Sportster and a 2005 Black 1200 Sportster. And because I can not even ride a sportster at this time because of osteo arthiritus in my left hip, waiting for a replacement, I recently bought a Suzuki 400 Burgman so I can ride. But all my bikes will be rideable and on the road together in the future God Willing. I do not know my purpose or mission but I have some great tools made in the USA. OWEN.

Yesterday I was having new tires installed on my '95 Heritage and the shop had a Platinum Mist SE Fat Boy for sale. Had only about 8000 kms on it but unfortunately had some mods that weren't to my taste. Still a nice looking bike though.

I liked the blue one and the blue and yellow. They should have put chrome wheels instead of polished aluminum...just my opinion. Great video 🤘🏻 💯

Thanks. I was always partial to the copper and purple.

I had a 2016 Fat Boy S that was all blacked out with the denim black paint. I think that’s one of the better looking Fat Boy’s and Harley’s ever made for that matter. Sold her to move up to a Road King Special for the storage space/touring capability. As a Road King owner I am also upset that it’s 30th is going by without a peep from Harley. They are all about the performance baggers, street and road glides, so won’t be surprised if they overlook all the other models for the foreseeable future. The Road King is also one of the best looking, most iconic bikes so hate to see it forgotten like it has been. I don’t want to be married to a fairing and be the 100th street or road glide to pull up to bike night.

Yep, Harley is putting a lot of backing behind the “glides”. It’s a shame they’re overlooking the King this year. At least so far.

@@canadiansa1nt309 I sure hope they have maybe a mid year model surprise for it but I’m not getting my hopes up, they are more likely to cancel it at this point. Unfortunately I feel the market for fat boys isn’t strong either so we’ll see what happens with that model. Both iconic bikes that I really like!

I love both the Fat Boy and chrome but I think these editions are a bit over the top. Don't recall ever seeing one 'out in the wild' and didn't know they even existed.

I’ve only seen one once. There’s an old dude who runs around town on it.

It was never about that ridiculous movie with heroin addict pop stars scratching finger nails on a chalkboard, it's about how the bikes looked back when I saw a 2006 CVO with a yellow/orange/purple paint job, bad ass to the bone. What will HD do for 2025, humm how about another two wheeled Winnebago for $60k, right.

You’re right, most likely they’ll continue pushing the large baggers into 2025.
