A few notes not mentioned in the video: The Bose QC Earbuds are not capable of multi-point connection. They will store up to seven devices in their device list and pair to any of them automatically, starting with the most recently used device, but you can only get audio from one device at a time, so no pairing to phone and laptop and switching automatically to a phone call when it comes in. Also, you CAN use just one bud at a time for calls or video conferencing, if you like. Just place one of the buds in the case. Audio will temporarily suspend as they do sense when they are removed from the ears and auto-pause. Finally, the buds are IPX4 rated, meaning they will handle light rain, splashes and a little sweat, but don't submerge them in water for any amount of time. Anything else not make it to the video? Let me know and I'll reply.
Outstanding review! You truly helped me with my decision. As an Apple user, the air pods pro are more appealing but the Bose earbuds is what I’m going for because I care more about performance than convenience at this point.
How did you like your decision? I got XM4s by Sony and the fit just isn't doing it for me. I am returning them to BestBuy and debating if I want QC or Airpods. My old ones are Bose and I love them. They lasted me 4 years.
@@Dijits I ended up having the AirPod Pro because they were gifted to me so I never got to try the Bose. However, I love my AirPod Pros. I was pleasantly surprised how much better they are than the standard AirPods. The noise cancellation & transparency mode are next level. I’m satisfied & recommend them.
Owning both the Bose QC earbuds and the Apple Airpods Pro, I couldn't agree more with this review. I owned the Airpods since the day they cake our last November, but I've only used them once since the Bose arrived. The sound quality & noise cancelling are just leaps and bounds better...
That may be true, but the air pod pros are just so much more comfortable to me… Bose will make my ears sore after about 2 hours whereas the air pod pros I’ll forget they’re even in my ears. And yes I switched to the smallest ear tips and they’re still too large or seem to be. Fins are super floppy and weak they don’t help with any support either
@@SirEggscellent I had that same problem too with the bose. After around 2 weeks, I switched to the smaller sized ear pieces, it's very comfortable to me during long periods.
I have the Bose and the Airpods Pro and for sound quality and ANC performance, I prefer the Bose. The Airpods PRO case is smaller and significantly more portable. Overall, I like the Bose, and the latest firmware has added quite a bit more functionality since this review.
I have both and I used to wear the pros to the gym. Let’s just say that the Bose are my go to for the gym. I run, jump, lift, etc and they never fall off. The comfort on the Bose is unmistakably improved! It is a huge improvement from the older model in weight as well. The pros would begin to fall out of my ear, even with different tips. The ANC on Bose are AMAZING and better than the pros. The sound and small details are very noticeable on the Bose as well. But don’t get me wrong. If I’m in a hurry or just want to hear some Music on the go, I sometimes take the pros. But if I had to pick, I’d go with the Bose for long term use and the pros for just an hour walk or if I have down time.
Man I just got the pros due to them being on sale at Best Buy and think the ANC works great! How much better is the Bose you think? I don’t see how it could be much better TBH
@@vinaya2084 I would go AirPods. Only thing I don’t like is the battery life. They do charge quick though so it’s not a big deal. I see they are 220$ on Best Buy’s website right now. Sonys are 280$
I first bought a Bose Soundsport Free and its sound quality was the best till just over a year when its battery life suddenly dropped to less than an hour. At first I thought it was just my unit but later on I discovered online that A LOT of customers had the same issue and there seemed to be no long-term fix to it. I gave up on Bose after this experience and immediately went for Apple Airpods Pro.
The bose are so much more comfortable than the airpods. I recently lost my airpods and thought I'd give the Bose a try, I find the sound is better with the Bose, the comfort level is better and I get better battery life with them. I don't think I'll ever go back to airpods and I am a apple user of just about everything.
I just bought the AirPods Pro 2 and they keep falling all the time. Yesterday I had to fish them from under my car. Might go for the Bose. Another thing is that I’m not impressed with the sound of the AirPods.
Just made the purchase on the Bose. I also own Apple Airpods Pro. I have to say that you should definitely go for the Bose if you ONLY care about noise cancelling and sound quality, and NOTHING ELSE. The bluetooth connectivity technology on the Bose hasn't received any upgrade since Bose Soundsport Free. It is so not smart - forget about using the left bud while the right bud is in the case, as soon as you close the case, the left bud loses sound. Unlike the Apple buds where both buds connect to the device independently, the Left Bose bud gets signal from the Right bud. So, your Right bud must be in use for the Left one to work. Also, the wireless range is a lot less than Apple! The touch control on the Bose is a mess. The wing tips made the buds stay in ears much tighter, but not as comfortable as Bose Soundsport Free (maybe the material has changed slightly... idk). The last one, also very important, the battery management, Bose doesn't turn itself off when idle, unlike the Apple. So, you can expect the battery draws quicker. Fortunately, the case can fully charge them fairly quickly, BUT the indicator doesn't tell you whether they are fully charged or not!! ahhhhhh. Despite all of that, I still love the Bose. The noise cancelling is the BEST in its class, even better than QC35II. And the sound is just so much more engaging than the Apple buds, period. BTW, I also owns a pair of Mi earbuds (Airdots 2, I believe). only $20, and they are as smart as Apple Airpods Pro, good sounding, best fit - better than the Bose and Apple, and best battery-life, however, poor microphone, no noise cancellation. They should make to everybody's list as a secondary buds. hahaha.
Great review thanks. I've always been a big Apple fan, but extremely disappointed in the Airpods Pro. They just don't fit my ears, and when I cycle and sweat, they fall out. I've just ordered the Bose QC's, and your review confirmed my decision, looking forward to seeing if they work out for me!
Nice review and good comparison. I have to add to anyone comparing sound quality against the airpods pro out of the box they are set to be very flat and most users will not know that Apple has provided a custom audio setup in the settings which will take you through a wizard and it will adjust the sound quality of the airpods pro to have a lot better high and lows. You can also adjust this by turning on 'Headphone Accommodations' which is under Audio/Visual in Accessibility settings. Once here make sure you set the tune audio for 'Balanced Tone' and keep the slider at 'Slight'. You will be amazed how good the airpods pro sound after this. It takes the blanket off the sound that comes by default. Not sure why Apple keeps this hidden but if someone did run the custom audio setup wizard they end up having these settings applied automatically too. I used to have a Samsung Galaxy Buds+ and with this setting, the Airpods Pro sounds even better and more powerful. Also the Spatial Audio that was introduced after this review is something that is truly amazing. The instrument separation and staging when listening to music and watching movies with a surround effect as it supports all that.
@@Dilserandom Bose QuietControl 30 review Impressive noise-cancelling and excellent sound quality make the Bose QC30s the real deal... 5 Star What Hifi Review 🌟 Try harder xo
j x you sound like a paid reviewer. If you had owned them you also would not have liked bose. After qc30, I have decided never to buy bose. P.s. do not get fooled buy these online tech reviewers
@@Dilserandom I own Bose QC25, Companion 5, SoundSport Bluetooth, Bose Solo 15, Bose SoundTouch 10. Their products are of excellent quality. No idea what you are talking about.
The are not though. If you are talking about sound quality, Bose has never been an audiophile company. In fact, many audiophiles think both Bose and beats really bad. QC series is, however, a very good consumer over-ear headphone.
Sony earbuds are the best noise cancellers in my opinion. Apple and Bose aren’t as good. However, I can’t recommend the Sonys as nobody can hear you on phone calls.
Thanks!! For me, I've had Apple Airpods and Bose Soundsport in the past and for my ear I vastly prefer Bose. I just don't like the little ear cup (whatever you call it) no matter what size it is...tho larger, the support in the bose wing thing makes it feel really secure without feeling invasive. Really appreciate hearing both call and sound quality reviews.
I have to say your review was fantastic. I have always used Bose and there is nothing like them. The sound quality is superb. I’ve got their Quietcomfort 30 but I think I’ll get these. Your review was exactly what I wanted to hear.
I have small ears and tried the apple pros for over a year. They hurt and would fall out. Loved the portability but hated them. Replaced with Bose and they feel so much better. Hurts after a few hours of wear but still better. Also they stay in my ear! Love them.
I just bought the Bose and they are awesome! One downside for me is I wear hearing aids, so music sometimes feels muted and I have to take them out if someone asks me a question. Between my deafness and the noise canceling, I have no problems with loud noises! They’re great if I’m using a mower or other loud tools.
Had the airpods pro... Totally into them... But after wearing them for a while, my ears hurt from the plastic part. Sold them and got the Bose earbuds... Awesome!! Feels great, amazing sounds, nose cancelling is crazy good. Only wish there was a way to be able to skip songs as well as go back. Even though they're a little bigger...I love em.
Been using Bose headphones for years, and they are so much comfortable and fitting with their fin tip. I don't like in ear headphones which makes my ears hurt after an hour
Thank you so much. I am on the verge to upgrade my first generation airpod to pro but after watching this video I'd really like to buy the Bose. I've had good experience with Bose systems at home and very impressed with the level of detail you shared. It's pricey. But since I am going to use it for at least 5 years I think I should choose Bose over Airpods. I am worried about hearing my own voice internally as with other in ear noise cancelling devices. When I walk with them I could hear my foot steps internally and its just annoying :-( Hope Bose won't do that - not tightly fit in my ear canal that is. Thanks for the video and I just subscribed,
I’ve got the Sennheiser Momentum 2’s which are very good ear buds. I wanted a good quality sounding pair of ear buds to run with. I’m a massive Apple fan, but I really don’t like the toothbrush sticking out of your ear look that the air pods give you. I also want audio quality from a company that specialises in audio quality. I tried the Sony XM3’s, really great sound quality, awful touch controls that can’t really be customised fully and for running, just terrible. I found myself poking them back in to my ears every minute of so. The pair I had also had an issue while connected to wifi, the single would drop out every minute of so, when I turned wifi off they were fine, turn wifi back on and the drops out came back. So I sent them back to Amazon, Amazon refunded me no questions, great service from them. I just purchased the Bose QC buds. WOW, the ANC blows my Sennheisers out of the water and the XM’s for that matter. Without music playing you can toggle ANC on/off on the sennheisers to see what’s it’s cutting out. The Sennheisers don’t do a good job of blocking out people talking in the background. It can only really block out low engine noises that you get when travelling on a plane. The Bose ANC is incredible, you can tell they invented ANC. You put them in and it blocks out so much outside, all different frequency levels, including people talking like I’ve never heard from any other in-ear buds. The Bose sound quality isn’t as good as the momentum’s, but they’re a close 2nd and better than the Sony’s IMO. My biggest issue with the Bose are the controls, yes you have play/pause, skip forward and ANC on/off. You can’t customise them like you can with the Sennheiser’s and Bose haven’t added to play the previous track for some reason. Sound quality - Sennheiser Long wearing comfort - Sennheiser ANC - No question Bose Controls - fully customisable Sennheiser If you want ear buds for walking around or while sitting on public transport I’d go with the Sennheisers. If you want the above and do exercise, I’d go with Bose. Sennheiser takes it most cases. Im not taking anything away from Bose. Their QC buds are still amazing and would be even better if they just added the customisable controls.
Nice video.. I concur...Sold my airpods pro for the bose qc earbuds ...and absolutely loving it... Now what i felt Airpods pro cons: I am not the only one who felt uncomfortable after 5mins of using airpods pro Music quality is nice and clean but dont expect too much.. ANC :it is good no doubt but again its in a mid range... Airpods pro PROS : if your want it primarily for calls then go for it best mic quality and connectivity... Spatial audio:it is just cool... Bose Cons:the big case and the battery life of the case... Can be connected to one device at a time Only right earbud can be used individually.. Bose pro: THE BEST ANC TECH AND AROUND 25%-30%more noise cancellation than AirPods Pro... The best music reproduction.. the signature bose stuff... Active EQ yeah is good because it is doing the job for you to produce the best sound ... Every instrument is crisp and clear So my friends in short if you are looking for good anc and music quality (which was my prinary concern) then go for bose and for the people out there whose ears are not accepting airpods pro(if you are feeling the pain ) then bose qc earbuds are very comfortable... None of the product is bad ..its upto you.. PS I got my airpods pro without testing so before getting bose i read every review and watch all the videos then i personally checked Sony XM3 earbuds and xm4headphone and sennheiser tw momentum 2 and bose nc700 and qc 35 II and after that i got Bose qc earbud and i am satisfied... So kindly check if possible before getting one... Peace🙂
Are the bose comfortable after wearing them for fee hours? The airpods have some type of small holes in them which allows air to pass through so you dont feel that pressure in the ear. Do the bose have this type of feature?
Haroon Bizenjo See for my ears bose are more comfortable than airpods...thats why i said to check them before getting one because ear shapes are different... in general too Bose are more comfortable...hence depends upon your use...mine was comfort ANC sound quality...and Bose is a clear winner
Tarique Hashmat it really depends on personal preference....i like more balanced sound and sennheiser seems to tweak vocals a bit...it is louder...ANC in Bose is better... so again do check yourself ... But in short i would say RIGHT NOW Sennheiser sound 10/10 Anc:8/10 Bose sound 9/10 Anc10/10 WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Just bought the QC's to use for work to replace a wired pair of BOSE in ear headphones that also had stayhear tips. Bought em refurbished on EBay Daily Dails w/ an additional 15% off the $179 which brought them to $153 before tax w/ free shipping. Bought numerous refurb products from BOSE before. Just as good as new. 2 yr warranty. People on Zoom confirmed mic quality is still good, even if only using one earbud. Seems to be a top notch product, and for me, the fitment of the stayhear tips is unlike anything on the market. Really tough to switch to anything else once you're used to these.
BOSE need I say more ? I bought a pair I LOVE THEM . I owned a pair of QC 35II over ear head phones and thought no ear buds could sound as good as over ear but these do..
Agree! I had the same over ear head phones until they died last week after four years. Absolutely loved them. I bought these ear buds o the weekend and so far think they are even better than my old ones
I listened to this video wearing my 2 day old Bose QC earbuds. The sound quality is excellent, the noise cancelling is the best in the business and I like the little jewel box. I was worried they wouldn’t stay put, but they are very secure in my ears without any discomfort. Well worth the money, I got a good deal on them from Wal-Mart.
Seriously the best review ever, made it very clear, I am definitely going for the Bose one as I have the Bose mini soundlink Bluetooth speaker and I love it the sound is incredible
This review was very helpful. I was feeling apprehensive about getting the Bose QC Earbuds due to the price. I wasn't sure if it was worth. There are really good points brought up, particularly I didn't think about aesthetics and weight. I have small ears so I'm curious to see if they'll be noticeably heavy with throughout the day.
hey, just wanted to know if you actually got them? I also have very small ears and I’m worried about the fit, don’t want to buy them if I’m not going to be able tu use them :(
I’ve tried a few different wireless earbuds including the AirPods Pro’s, which I really wanted to work, but they refused to stay in my ears, which drives me crazy. The Bose isn’t perfect, but the fins allow them to stay put. I wish they had a smaller case and multi device connection. However the worst thing about them, that I would like changed the most is the case button. I take my buds in and out often and I find the button on the case tricky to open. You have to push the small narrow button in just the right amount for it to open. I have larger fingers and it is very annoying to try to open the case. So much so that I seriously consider returning them, since it truly interferes with the usability of this product for me. Thanks for the great videos.
I heard this vídeo wearing my Bose QC. Sorry apple. Bose is BOSE Boss. It was great to know that the call quality was better as well. I mountain bike with my Bose jumping and going through roots for about 1hr 30min and they stay comfortably in my ears. 👍🏼👍🏼💪🏼💪🏼
The one big turnoff for me for the Bose is the size of the case. I have the Power Beats Pro and use them less frequently than I thought I would because of the size of the case.
Hello! Thanks for your reviews! You’re one of the best reviewers in any channel I’ve ever seen, seriously. Also, you are a natural comedian!!! I love your channel and look forward to your reviews. I bought the BDI Corridor 8179 after I watched your review...it’s being delivered, today! Cheers, from Canada 🍁
I tried both. Bose sounds better and fits my ears better (could never get apple to stay in ear). other than that, the apple has more features that fit my lifestyle - smaller case, lighter product, active on multiple devices - and less expensive. If I had to pick one? Apple
Awesome comparison. Dividing entire video into sections helped me a lot to watch what I was looking for.... Great!!! Keep on doing videos like this, really organized one.
I own the Bose QC Earbuds, and as far as I can tell there's no EQ adjustments available. At 6:35 in the video you say you can "play around with the EQ a little bit". There are definitely EQ controls for Bose's over-the-ear headphones, but for the QC Earbuds that functionality isn't in the app. Am I missing something?
I have had the Bose from day one and always had Bose earphones, just had my first ever airpods arrive today and I can hardly hear the difference when I hold the button for noise cancelling, different tones for on and off but with the Bose going between the two for on and off you can hear the difference straight away
I bought the AirPods Pro and the Bose QC earbuds. After reading the reviews about both, I had to draw my own conclusions. I bought the AirPods Pro knowing it was most compatible with the IOS platform. The buds are comfortable and they do a decent job with reproducing music though not as full as the Bose QC. Without checking other brands, I went with the Bose QC based on their reputation for ANC and my previous experience with Bose Blu Tooth headphones, ANC and non ANC alike. The Bose QC earbuds definitely have fuller sound than the AirPods Pro. I will continue to use both.
I am a runner and use earbuds when I run. I have to say that the AirPods are nice if I am not running, but they are so slippery to begin with that they basically float out of my ears if I sweat even slightly. The BOSE, on the other hand, almost never have this issue. They are slightly heavier, but to me that is a good thing. The BOSE also tend to charge really quickly. Often times, the BOSE are fully charged by the time that I return from the gym.
Recently purchased these Bose QC earbuds and I’m impressed. The noise canceling is tremendous and the sound quality is top notch. Bought the Bose over the AirPods just on a hunch and I’m glad I did.
Bose QC gen 1 two years and still going strong. I love the on-ear design and ANC rivaling over-ear headphones (better than QC35ii for example). Reddit forums report its ANC is even better than the all-new QC Ultra earbuds.
I have both. The AirPods are my go to for just general audio around my day, and the Bose are for when I’m going to the gym or plane for actually good ANC. When I’m in the gym with these, the sound quality so much better and you can’t even hear people around you at all.
These are my first pair of wireless headphones, had tired beats before and wasn't that impressed, but these are amazing, I've only had them about 2 months and they continue to surprise me, I live In the city and they cancel out all the noise, not 100% but more than enough, sound quality is clear, loud, the base is deep and loud, but both lose and highs are balanced perfectly, I honestly don't feel the weight, I wear them all day, to even to workout and it's probably not until the end of a long weekend that my ears will get tired, I love these things I wear them all the time, my ears are gonna fall out lol
I’ve had both and Bose is better. You’re more likely to return or repair your AirPods Pro for loss of noise cancelling or bass over time. The size of the case is ideal but, I don’t mind carrying around a bigger case if it means better quality.
@@TH-camitisin nope, any damage they have I attribute to me dropping them really. it's been a while, still have em. only issue for me is you can't use just one, it has to be both.
Thank you so much for such an informative video. I have been waiting for a while for these to come on sale in Australia and finally noticed last night my wish has come true and just wanted to be 100% sure before I raced out today👍😁
Good review but the one thing you don't really address, and many reviewers don't, and barely any of the commentators below do either, is how it sounds to the listener when there is active noise around you. You spoke in an office which looked quiet. The biggest criticism I get using my iPods Pro is still that outside noise isn't always cancelled so the caller can hear that too. Bose claim that the new earbuds deal with this but the iPods claimed that too. I'd like to see you test against some noise like a whine from an a/c unit or in the street with busy traffic coming past (custom motorbikes and small capacity mopeds are especially noisy). Thanks.
@@Yankeeboi97 thanks for prompt reply , currently have the headphone version and love everything about them except for sleep issue . Thought these would be the answer . Thanks again 👍
I have always brought Bose I am thinking about getting the Bose earbuds ur vid has helped thank u, u have a cool voice the kind that makes ur ears stand u when u hear it.
I was thinking of getting the Bose QC earbuds. I already own the Apple AirPods Pro. My main complaint about them is the fit. I always feel like they are going to pop out of my ear, especially the left bud. And that is just me sitting on the couch too. I was hoping for a better fit with the Bose. I don’t really care that the Bose is a little bulkier than the Apple. As long as they stay in place. I really liked the review between the Bose QC earbuds vs Apple AirPods Pro. The Bose QC earbuds are on sale this weekend for Mothers Day. I think I’ll treat myself to a pair.
I bought the Apple Earpods and I agree in everything you said but you forgot to mention. Keep falling off all the time. I bought in Amazon special Hooks that make the job but you can charge unless you remove everytime. I gave them to my son. I got the Bose CQ. And extremely happy.
This review is on point,I bought both and testing them.the Bose definitely sound better and their noise cancellation is completely superior too.both are equally comfortable. Bose wins.
I have been a fan of Bose for a long time. Before getting the QC Earbuds, I tried the Sony and Senheiser buds. The Sony buds kept cutting out, and that was after getting two sets that didn’t work at all. The Sony buds didn’t stay in my ears. At the end of the day, I got the Bose earbuds because of the fin (they stay in my ears) and the sound quality. They are unbeatable in my book.
Amazon had the Bose earbuds on sale shortly before Christmas! They were reasonably marked down! These don’t last very long so I passed on the on the Bose and bought me a pair of SoulMate Series S7 by Srhythm. I bought the earbuds and the NC35 over-the-ear headphones. I paid around $170 for on Amazon and I am very happy with both!
i have the previous bose and got the pro recently . I flew from london to dublin on a smaller aircraft and the bose was much better at blocking out aircraft noise. I put the airpods away that for the rest of the flight
Make sure you connect the bose to the app & update them. My sound quality mostly the bass was updated very well. Mostly use my airpod pros in the morning at work & just chilling around
I have had the Bose Quiet control 30 for 3 years now and to be honest the sound is great. My only problem with them is the band just never sits quite right around the neck, and so has the tendency to twist around. also the on and off button is a little hard to press. Is it worth upgrading to these? I am very tempted.
So I bought the QC's and was loving them, great sound, great fit, great NC, but only for a day! Then the left Bud suddenly stopped working and won't turn on again, it would not even turn on the light when put back in their case. Tried rebooting them but sadly nothing worked. They are not possible to factory reset. The store replaced them for some new ones, but sadly again they only worked for 3 days this time. I read many people had similar issues with the left bud. Very disappointed because they indeed sound amazing.
One huge issue with the Bose QC is the Bluetooth latency compared to the Airpods. I had the Bose and if you play any type of FPS game, the audio lag will be maddening. I now run the Beats Fit Pro, which are the same as the Airpod Pros in terms of latency.
I keep hearing people claim the Bose case is not "pocketable" and that is very disingenuous. I had no issue with their size. Would it have been nicer if they were smaller? Of course. But that doesn't mean they don't fit. That simply isn't true. If I were wearing super tight jeans, yeah, that would be an issue too...but it would also be a problem for carrying the airpods as well. Yes, the Bose case is bigger. Is it as convenient to carry around? No. But not pocketable? That is simply untrue. I don't mean to be harsh, because I genuinely enjoyed the rest of your video. Very informative and unbiased, too!
I have both. My Bose after a hour began to hurt my ears, sound is beyond great. However, making calls and only getting sound out that one ear to talk is horrible, it falls out of connection all the time too, and having to download a app to connect them is a bit annoying. AirPod Pro sound good, not as good as the Bose, but damn good, the noise canceling is better too, and comfort.. pairs better overall with the iPhone over the Bose.. making calls is simple too I’ve Bose, overall it’s AirPods Pro over the Bose, for comfort, sound and just functionality.
So detail review, i satisfied. Just wandering i use bose soundsport free till now, am i need to upgrade, for sound wise only? No need xtra function anc etc
I currently have Powerbeats Pro. The only thing I don’t like about them is even when they are in the case, they are always on which drains the power rather quickly. Are the Bose the same way? I’m mostly a gym/running user.
I have both and I prefer Bose for music and noise cancellation, so more long term use (and they are very comfortable). I use the Apple Airpods Pro for Zoom etc. which are easier to get in and out of the ears and don't really need ANC most of the time.
@@TH-camitisin I don’t use Bose QC’s any more. Sold them. However, I know Apple AirPods Pro v1 had issues with crackling. Hence, upgraded them to v2. Also, bought B&O EX earbuds. These sound incredible but do not have the same level of noise cancelling as the Bose or Apple Pro v2. Hope that helps.
@@190E_2.6 I returned Airpods Pro 2 to get Bose QC 1 and for me the fit of Bose QC 1 is much better than apple airpods pro 2. Only thing is that people have posted that the left one stop working after a couple of months etc. Did you use Bose QC1 for more than a few weeks and did it give you any hardware issue? Thanks.
@@TH-camitisin I had the Bose QC1 for about 3-4 months and didn’t have any issues. The fit was good but Apple AirPods Pro 2 are a better fit for my ears. The B&O are also a comfortable fit. I can’t use the ones which fit in-ear because I have small ear canals.
Just my thoughts...my Apple pods often fall out even when I'm yawning or maybe just bend down to pick up something. When I try to push them back in they hang up on the person I'm trying to talk with, or the music stops when I'm listening music. My Bose QC buds stay in very well. I can shake my head around and do just about anything and they hold in very solidly. And they sound soo much better! The rare occasion when I do touch them to reposition them they never accidentally hang up nor stop the music like my Apple buds so commonly do. Also I do carry mine in my pocket. They are a little large but not really that bad at all.
The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds sound quality is BRILLIANT. Bose QC's absolutely POWER through. Delivering higher highs and some very nice lower-end punch. "A full balanced spectrum of joy." Regardless of a bulbous look, B-QC's stay in place extremely well, even under intense rockin' to my favorite jam. On numerous occasions... I would have expected one or both to drop out, leaving me scrambling to pop back into my magnificent in-head heavenly concert. It doesn't happen. Not only very light in the ear, staying FIRMLY in place - they are the first earbuds I forget were in my ears. Noise-canceling is very good, though sucking up battery life - though not annoyingly. The downs? Yes, there are a few. Let's not assume what I consider to be the top two earbuds on the market will, or even can be everything to everyone. When I say top two, I am referring to the left and right Bose QC's. Realistically, nothing on the market can be everything to everyone. As a blue-tooth phone device, they are not very good. In a quiet moderate to loud space, they are adequate. To expect a microphone on your ear to block wind noise is I believe at this stage of technology too much to expect. That is what microphone extension arms are for...placing the microphone in front of your mouth. Did that have me returning the B-QC's for a headset? Hell no! Never! It had me looking for a good headset for phone calls. The Case: some find the case overly large. Clearly larger than the AirPod Pro case, I found the case ok. The buds slip into charging position and stay in place well. I do NOT like the case access button. I suppose it is a fine line between engineering a case that stays closed when it should and opens easily. For the replacement price, you certainly do not want the case to inadvertently pop open. The alternative however leaves me a touch frustrated opening this case. Overall? "Get'em...WOW!!"
I made the mistake of buying the Apple AirPods Pro and will be returning them today. Activities such as talking and sitting constantly make them fall out of my ears regardless of what ear tips i use.
I feel your comparisons between them was good . AirPod pro , it’s price keep going down and in market different dealer gives different discounts , while Bose products are available at fixed price throughout the country.
I had the AirPods Pro (as a gift) after owning the Bose SoundSport. For sound, the AirPods Pro were greatly lacking (without even doing a comparison, I noticed it right away). So much so, that I had to get the Bose QC. For sound, the AirPods Pro just don't cut it. They don't fit well, either, and I had to buy aftermarket Earbuds Hooks to make them better but all it did was hurt my ears, even without them. All of the extra frills have been pretty much addressed with firmware updates for the Bose QC. The battery case for the Bose QC works much better than the SoundSport in that it doesn't seem to discharge in a week when not in use. Yes it's big, but if your particular about sound, it's the only way to go.
Missing a few things like audio lag when watching videos, IPX rating, how these compare with over the ear for noise cancelling BOSE, how muffled the sound is compared to Sennheisers. I personally have always felt that BOSE muffles the mids and base tones at the expense of having stronger ANC. Maybe you can provide some more feedback?
I have both, the Bose and the AirPods Pros. Love both. The AirPods Pro sound very good (and way better than other AirPods models), but the Bose DO sound a bit better overall, low to high. They both (seem) equally comfy, but the Bose while comfy too (eventually) starts wear on you if you are wearing for hours at a time. That Bose case is huge, (I clip the apple's on my belt loop with a $5 amazon case which also fits in pocket. You won't do that with the big Bose. You can force pocket it, but you won't. Trust me. If you have a purse or bag = win. Honestly, at home I use the BOSE for better music and movie sound. But on the move, I grab my smaller portable apple pros with their case. If you are REALLY picky about the sound, and nearly absolute noise canceling, go BOSE quality. But the apple is a bit more comfy, and still has good sound and good noise control, and more portable. I have both, but if I could ONLY live with ONE, AirPods Pro nudges the win on size, comfort, portability, loses just a little on sound, yet still sounds very very good.
Thanks. This is helpful. I am still torn between the two. Which one would be better for working out at the gym and running outside comfort and stability wise?
I have the Bose. I like the sound quality and they are pretty comfortable. Battery has been excellent, especially for commuting. I have a daily 2 1/2 hour commute and I get almost two weeks which includes an hour and half walk with the dog on weekends. I‘ve never had a problem with them feeling like they were going to fall out cycling or working out. The case is a problem, however and I‘m considering looking for something new. When I‘m going to work, its fine in my briefcase or bag. But if I‘m walking to the store or through the mall, the case is far too bulky. I‘m debating between the Sony or AirPods Pro’s.
Hey bro is the latency a draw back or is it pretty close watching movies & TH-cam? And I just may get me some next month I do listen to music at work and when I detail vehicles to keep me going ! Thanks for your input to me buying some great earbuds! A plus is my phone charges wireless so these are a plus to wireless charging for me on the go 👌🏼!
Great info about both products from 2 well known companies. From my personal experience - owning several BOSE listening devices, my preference is BOSE. They've mastered the ability to reveal & reproduce music very accurately & unaltered, the way artist's & recording engineers intended. The evidence speaks for it's self, because I've attended a variety of LIVE performances / concerts - Jazz - Pops - Classical . Again , for me BOSE headphones dose a fantastic Reproducing natural unaltered* sound.*
I hope you can also compare the Bose QC against the Sennheiser Momentum 2 earbuds. Or maybe just tell us which is better with the audio quality. Thanks!
I had the first edition ear pods, and after 12 months they got quieter an quieter, until I realised they were gummed up from my ears. (I do keep my ears as clean as possible!) this for me is the biggest design flaw. ( I cleaned them and got the volume back) I switched to these bose ear buds and the sound was totally different, warmer, clearer bass. I'll be sticking with my bose thank you.
Great review. Just a bit of info on the comfort. Not all can wear ear buds, including me. So buds like apple do not stay, the way the Bose fit makes it possible for me and many others to wear ear buds. So I think it should be known, Bose accommodates a whole other class of people that typically can’t wear earbuds.
Thank u for the review was seriously thinking about trying these Bose as well . Already have the air pod pro and do lobe them as well but want me another pair or very good ear buds so think I'm a try them out 👍🏾
Ffff I was so liking how the pros switch back n forth between devices but I need that quality. Gonna try the Bose n see if I can get over the ecosystem issue.
@@DanBorries I got the Bose and alternated back and forth with the pros since there was an extended return over holidays. I’m taking the Bose back, not because they don’t sound good but connectivity sux, especially when I have watch/pad/phone the pros work magically with. The tips on Bose bothered my ears often, after extended wear. They def won in sound/single-use battery life but sux you can’t use both pods on their own
@@Jaxjagz22 I also had both and can totally relate on the connectivity issue but ultimately I preferred audio quality. The AirPods Pro, although they work and switch seamlessly between devices, they don’t maintain the punchy bass and ANC you had in the beginning for long. I guess we both had to make compromises.
Thanks for review, I always have my AirPod Pros with me even if I take another set of buds or overhears for music like my Technics AZ70 Buds, Sony XM4 headphones. Theses could be my other pair for when I have time to really listen to music and I have the pocket /bag real estate free. But not replace my AirPods no. I can’t carry in a top shirt pocket or my little jeans pocket I need a bag to carry them.
Sound quality Bose vs XM3? Worth upgrading?
Did you take into consideration spacial audio for the air pods pro?
what about google assistant or siri?
@@robert7776 Spatial audio is fin, but overall fidelity wins for me, and Bose has that.

Are Bose QC reliable? any hardware issue such as left bud stopped working etc? Thanks.
Owning both the Bose QC earbuds and the Apple Airpods Pro, I couldn't agree more with this review. I owned the Airpods since the day they cake our last November, but I've only used them once since the Bose arrived. The sound quality & noise cancelling are just leaps and bounds better...
So you mean the bose are way better right?
That may be true, but the air pod pros are just so much more comfortable to me… Bose will make my ears sore after about 2 hours whereas the air pod pros I’ll forget they’re even in my ears. And yes I switched to the smallest ear tips and they’re still too large or seem to be. Fins are super floppy and weak they don’t help with any support either
@@SirEggscellent I had that same problem too with the bose. After around 2 weeks, I switched to the smaller sized ear pieces, it's very comfortable to me during long periods.

Bose has the best sound in my opinion. I don't use any other earpiece expect BOSE.
I have the Bose and the Airpods Pro and for sound quality and ANC performance, I prefer the Bose. The Airpods PRO case is smaller and significantly more portable. Overall, I like the Bose, and the latest firmware has added quite a bit more functionality since this review.
Are Bose QC reliable? any hardware issue such as left bud stopped working etc? Thanks.
Thank you for mentioning " when you talk, you can't hear your own voice when talking" (AirPods). Most reviews do not mention that.
This might be a silly question 🙋♂️ can either of them be used as hearing aids ?
That is only on transparency mode🤦♂️
Yes you can hear your own voice if you turn off noise canceling.
I take zoom meetings all time! Which one would you recommend?
@@vinaya2084 I would go AirPods. Only thing I don’t like is the battery life. They do charge quick though so it’s not a big deal. I see they are 220$ on Best Buy’s website right now. Sonys are 280$
I first bought a Bose Soundsport Free and its sound quality was the best till just over a year when its battery life suddenly dropped to less than an hour. At first I thought it was just my unit but later on I discovered online that A LOT of customers had the same issue and there seemed to be no long-term fix to it.
I gave up on Bose after this experience and immediately went for Apple Airpods Pro.
how about your airpods pro now? Does the same problem of the battery comes out?
The bose are so much more comfortable than the airpods. I recently lost my airpods and thought I'd give the Bose a try, I find the sound is better with the Bose, the comfort level is better and I get better battery life with them. I don't think I'll ever go back to airpods and I am a apple user of just about everything.
You talk to me i will give you good and cheap
Connact me
I just bought the AirPods Pro 2 and they keep falling all the time. Yesterday I had to fish them from under my car. Might go for the Bose. Another thing is that I’m not impressed with the sound of the AirPods.
@@ik3140 the sound of the airpods pro are so horrible, they sound so cheap and no BASS whatsoever! For the price of them, its not worth it at al
They should make to everybody's list as a secondary buds. hahaha.
This is a whole essay
Great review thanks. I've always been a big Apple fan, but extremely disappointed in the Airpods Pro. They just don't fit my ears, and when I cycle and sweat, they fall out. I've just ordered the Bose QC's, and your review confirmed my decision, looking forward to seeing if they work out for me!
Did they workout?
Thank you! Finally a straightforward and subdtance over style reviewer.
People love to hate on Bose, but their headphones are impressive. They are a leader in ANC

The are not though. If you are talking about sound quality, Bose has never been an audiophile company. In fact, many audiophiles think both Bose and beats really bad. QC series is, however, a very good consumer over-ear headphone.
@Young Black Conservativeyes, in terms of sound quality for a consumer product. Usability is still way better for AirPods Pro.
@Young Black Conservative what are u talking about? I am not talking about the regular AirPods. AirPods Pro HAS active noise cancellation already.
@Young Black Conservative And Bose needs to stop fucking up the details. There are NO volume controls on this thing.
Are Bose QC reliable? any hardware issue such as left bud stopped working etc? Thanks.

Are the APPs in ear?
Sound quality - Sennheiser
Long wearing comfort - Sennheiser
ANC - No question Bose
Controls - fully customisable Sennheiser
If you want ear buds for walking around or while sitting on public transport I’d go with the Sennheisers. If you want the above and do exercise, I’d go with Bose.
Sennheiser takes it most cases. Im not taking anything away from Bose. Their QC buds are still amazing and would be even better if they just added the customisable controls.
I brought a pair and they are excellent. Sounds great and charge time is very good. So what the case is big they are worth it.
One of the best comparison reviews out there! Thank you.
Nice video..
I concur...Sold my airpods pro for the bose qc earbuds ...and absolutely loving it...
Now what i felt
Airpods pro cons: I am not the only one who felt uncomfortable after 5mins of using airpods pro
Music quality is nice and clean but dont expect too much..
ANC :it is good no doubt but again its in a mid range...
Airpods pro PROS : if your want it primarily for calls then go for it best mic quality and connectivity...
Spatial audio:it is just cool...
Bose Cons:the big case and the battery life of the case...
Can be connected to one device at a time
Only right earbud can be used individually..
Bose pro: THE BEST ANC TECH AND AROUND 25%-30%more noise cancellation than AirPods Pro...
The best music reproduction.. the signature bose stuff...
Active EQ yeah is good because it is doing the job for you to produce the best sound ...
Every instrument is crisp and clear
So my friends in short if you are looking for good anc and music quality (which was my prinary concern) then go for bose and for the people out there whose ears are not accepting airpods pro(if you are feeling the pain ) then bose qc earbuds are very comfortable...
None of the product is bad ..its upto you..
PS
I got my airpods pro without testing so before getting bose i read every review and watch all the videos then i personally checked
Sony XM3 earbuds and xm4headphone and sennheiser tw momentum 2 and bose nc700 and qc 35 II and after that i got Bose qc earbud and i am satisfied...
So kindly check if possible before getting one...

Would you know about the sennheiser momentum 2 vs this particular bose ? Which one is better?
Tarique Hashmat it really depends on personal preference....i like more balanced sound and sennheiser seems to tweak vocals a bit...it is louder...ANC in Bose is better... so again do check yourself ...

Bose sound 9/10
Anc10/10

Loved the review.... have you done a bose vs sennheiser headphones? Send me a link pls.... couldnt find it
I heard this vídeo wearing my Bose QC.
The sport version is a bit smaller

Do you find that your ears get too hot with the Bose ones when working out or on hot days, or is it OK?

I have both. The AirPods are my go to for just general audio around my day, and the Bose are for when I’m going to the gym or plane for actually good ANC. When I’m in the gym with these, the sound quality so much better and you can’t even hear people around you at all.
Caleb is the best, I love his reviews

Thanks.
People I talk to while outside walking next to traffic never have problems hearing me due to the airpods noise canceling.
@@nreeldeep1 I get the opposite sometimes. Traffic gets amplified and wind can be awful to someone listening to me speak as I walk along my seafront.
That was a great review. I'm really looking to buy some earbuds before Christmas and would love for you to compare the Bose and Sennheiser...Please 🙏
8:05 broooo it looks like you have trendy ear plug piercings 😂
Have owned the Bose QC buds for a few days now and I absolutely love them. Yeah they're pricey but absolutely worth it.
Can you sleep comfortably with them on ?
@@MizunoIronMan its manageable, they are a little big for laying head sideways, so I'd say no.
Bose wins.
Are Bose QC reliable? any hardware issue such as left bud stopped working etc? Thanks.
@@TH-camitisin Yes they are very reliable.both are.
Got my Bose for 190 , they’re on sale atm plus I had a 10 dollar credit so I’m happy with them , love the fit much much better.
i have the previous bose and got the pro recently .
Thanks for the thorough review and very well done video. Do you have a video that compares the other two you mentioned? (Sony & Sennheiser)?
One huge issue with the Bose QC is the Bluetooth latency compared to the Airpods. I had the Bose and if you play any type of FPS game, the audio lag will be maddening. I now run the Beats Fit Pro, which are the same as the Airpod Pros in terms of latency.
awesome review Caleb! How do you compare the bose quiet comfort buds with the new Google Pixel Buds?
AirPod Pro sound good, not as good as the Bose, but damn good, the noise canceling is better too, and comfort.. pairs better overall with the iPhone over the Bose.. making calls is simple too I’ve Bose, overall it’s AirPods Pro over the Bose, for comfort, sound and just functionality.
noise cancellation is better on airpods pro?? wtf are you smoking?
When it comes to music or listening to music …TV ….anything like that ….you cannot go wrong with Bose!!! I love their products!!!
Are Bose QC reliable? any hardware issue such as left bud stopped working etc? Thanks.
You also have to consider AirPods Pro’s spatial audio. Blew my mind when I tried it for the first time.
I agree, just bought mine and have been really impressed. Thanks for the review.
Just bought a pair of Bose today and 100% best earbuds I've ever had the pleasure of putting in my ears.
How do you think these compare to the wired QC20’s? Worth the upgrade to go wireless?
Sweet review, do you think the bose earbuds sound as good as a pair of mid-market wireless headphones? for example the popular beat by dre solo 3s?
I feel your comparisons between them was good . AirPod pro , it’s price keep going down and in market different dealer gives different discounts , while Bose products are available at fixed price throughout the country.
Exactly. Give me the discounts any day.
Sound and noice cancelling of the QC's is indeed amazing👌
Hey bro is the latency a draw back or is it pretty close watching movies & TH-cam?
And I just may get me some next month
I do listen to music at work and when I detail vehicles to keep me going !
( I cleaned them and got the volume back)
I switched to these bose ear buds and the sound was totally different, warmer, clearer bass. I'll be sticking with my bose thank you.
Just got the Air Pod Gen 3s and I wish I got the Bose
I am an apple lover. Apple everything, but I love jazz so I am going with bose
Dude you gotta break that barrier ASAP. You’re missing out on so much.
