Great review! I have had the 258 for about 12 years and was thinking I should go down a size because I don’t carry as much stuff with me in my current job as I did my prior job. The 258 is fantastic! But that padding adds bulk and weight. So if you are trying to go stealth, it’s not going to work. That said, it does make for a great overnight bag, providing you don’t have to haul a bunch of cold weather gear.
Thinking of the padded bag for work travel. Those side pockets packed with clothes for short trips seems perfect to protect a notebook, dslr camera and even an oxygen meter stored in the center compartment. Thanks for the demo!
Is yours the 256/original briefcase? it only comes with the 257 and larger briefcases. However I know Wilson will do it as an add on for any of their bags (for a cost)

The tan definitely gets some “color” to it... I like it. But a navy/olive will hide the wear
i had the padded bag, but i found it to be too heavy for longer walks. Slimmed down to the 257 and 256 Camo

I think its a 12in, not 100% sure. I've stopped using the grid and tried to better use the storage built into the bag.

The zipper? No I’ve been ok. I also have a sleeve that I use inside the bag as well

yeah it is an awesome bag, but with just car commuting to the office it was a bit too much (aka I filled it with too much junk)
