Beach volleyball made its Olympic debut at the 1996 Atlanta Games. USA and Brazil shared all the gold medals in the subsequent four editions, except in Sydney where the Australian women's team dominated.

The germans killed them with team work and patience.
the germans have a more balanced team, the Brazilians on the other hand have a blocker and a defender so it's easy to gameplan against them by just serving the shortest guy :)

I watched many international volleyball matches but I still dont understand why the audience always boos the Germans? o.O I didnt see any German who is not pleasant at all...

I met him Yesterday on a "Beachcup" near Aachen / Cologne. Julius & Jonas played a deposit match vs. Sven Anton & Malte Holschen.
Apparently it didn´t affect his game, cause they won the Gold Medal = ) ..
But sure I understand what you mean. They´re guys are really nice.
