Brilliant, thank you mate for your efforts and braving the elements. Much appreciated, always give us a laugh andgood advice. That wind would blow the cob webs away and waken you up..Take care & tight lines..❤️🇬🇧🎣
Great video mate. That's what I call proper dedication to your hobbies 👌🏻✌🏻💪🏻🤣 willing to brave the worst of the British weather for the love of your hobby you're a proper bloke mate 💪🏻🤣😂🤣. I am a scuba diver and go diving when it's icy and people think I am mad 🥴 I just blame my dedication for diving 👌🏻✌🏻🤣😂🤣
Hi Rich, terrible weather but if it's like that next time then fish the pens. It's right across from the breakwater and you can drive down there and fish out of the car. They are called the pens because they used to moor the 2 giant tugs there when shell owned it. You might be better off there for congers anyway as you would be casting out directly towards the slate blocks. There is quite a deep channel there as they dredged it out so the tugs could come and go even at low tide. If you decide to fish it then just follow the road above the harbour on the other side then take a left before the car park at LLam Carw. It would be similar to fishing Dock Bach but with plenty more shelter. No risk of damaging your recording gear and you can fish out of the car and there's plenty of light there too.
10 out of 10 for effort. I'd have been in the warm lol Certainly not worth getting Hurt or damaging you equipment. Not matter what the weather still a smile and a laugh. Stay safe and warm. Regards to the family
@@davidblake2863 ah see what you mean, I've never seen anyone using one fishing but I remember back in my tournament casting days the lads that used fixed spool wore them.
Another top vid Hooker!! one quick question, you and John both talk about the rod noodles, where can you get them from? I have had a scout and couldn't find them.....

Great job, big one next trip.
Just a thought, you don't need a shock leader unless you are casting hard. Bing, bong, boo 👍
That madman gamekeeper John is rubbing off on you and not in a good way 😂
Fair do's to you lads for braving that weather to bring us some entertainment.
Good one mate 😂😂😂
Well done Hooker 😊😊
Hi rich put 60 pound braid on ye reels no need for shock leaders less hassle 🎣🎣
I'm not a fixed spool man but wouldn't that not cut through your finger during the cast?
Not with a finger stall @@matthewjames1394
At least you both tried. Not worth the risk
