I may have misunderstood the video but in the final product, the etched acrylic seems to extend outside of the wood by enough to create a halo-type glow. Did you need to adjust either the wood or acrylic to accomplish this?
@baracuda40 yes! I didn't suggest operating remotely as that's silly but this machine does come with inbuilt flame detection and extinguisher. Still not saying that's ok to leave your machine but a fire can start even if you're standing next to it. The point being you don't need to have a dedicated PC just to run the machine

One of those “why didn’t I think of that” videos! Well detailed tutorial with great tips along the way. Thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!
Just did the pre-order for a Atomstack based on your recommendation. Now I wait until October to get it. Thanks for the information James
You make this look so easy... thank you!
maybe you could use the plywood that you cut the parts out of as an alignment jig for joining the acrylic and plywood together.
Great job on the tutorial!
Thank you 😊
Great videos , keep em up!!🎉
A great explanation, thank you 🙂
Thank you 😊
Haven't even got a laser but still watched and enjoyed.
Had a little giggle at the shaky hands, that would be me too 😂
I could have blagged it but I preferred to be honest.... and I was literally like "oh sh#t" 😆
Beautiful!!!
Thank you 👍
Great idea ✌️👷♂️
I wonder if you could use the offcut holes that the shapes were cut from as a jig for accurately aligning them for the glue up
Great video as always James. Maybe I'm missing something here, but the four links provided are for Amazon US, not UK.

Absolutely...I actually recorded me recording the layers so I'm now questioning why I didn't include it!

Hey Mo. You should check all the spamming comments that you're getting. Are you selling a laser engraver?
This for me or has Mo been blocked already?
