Holy crap those John Deere tractors were amazing. To be honest I want to know more about that Massey that pulled 314 with the V8.
Those v8 Perkins diesels put out a lot of power. Some run up to 6k rpm in the right tune!

What's the advantage of running "coil over" suspension on the big supers? I'm guessing less unsprung weight and less bounce. Or is it a "looks" thing? Just wondering.
For suspension ! some use air bags as well , sometimes they come down pretty hard helps to ease them down !

Why do they all start building boost by the engine hunting like vomm vomm vom vm vmmmmmmmm why isn’t the rpm climbing steady? Is it the driver or the injector pump set up? Genuinely interested to know 👍🏻

I am at a loss here guys.... why do these large turbo diesels surge / loap like they have huge cams until boost kicks in? years ago in construction we had this old I6 diesel turbo crane that would do the same thing till around 2000rpm, any one able to shed some light on that for me, always wondered!
I don't get it. What makes the trailer stop? Once u get it moving, you should be able to keep going.

what sled reset means... thank you!
Means they changed the setting on the sled to in this case stop the tractors earlier. Therefore the tractors that had already went will come back and pull again on the new setting of the sled.
