I'm talking about basically playing two tunes at once on the same guitar with different hands.
Practice and muscle memory. It's not like they're jamming. However, it's very impressive and I also like the playfullness and joy during the the whole song.

@Kodfk Dleepd I guess you did not understand the point. There is one passage in the piece when obe of them is playing the right hand and the other the left hand on THE SAME music. It requires an incredible degree of coordination.
It might not be visible at first glance, but they sometimes invert their hands and play the other ones right hand, and the other one plays the other's left hand, ans same for their other hands... It is hardly understandable what is going on, let alone playing it... the level of coordination needed is out of this world! My jaw is still on the floor...

Adrak Hiano used to do that in band, I played the fingering for my partners cornet and he did the same with mine. Was a laugh

I'm always impressed with technical prowess, but when you see them obviously having fun playing the piece....Well, as a musician myself, I can say that enjoying what your playing not only makes for a better performance, but is the ultimate amount of joy a musician can experience.
That is the coolest most romantic shit I've ever seen..the smile on her face was priceless and endering!
This is just one video of their performance of this. There are less polished videos that are more intimate and when it ends and she smiles and wrinkles her nose, it just makes one want to hug her. They make this work incredibly.

The switching of hands to play the frets of the other players strumming is genius level - it deserves more than one viewing.
I get so overwhelmingly sad at the end when you see their audience is consisting of like 12 people... They should be playing for audience of thousands!
It's for sound quality that they performed in a small place with few people. Many official recordings are like this.

That's an unbelievable artful coordination of hears, hearts, muscles and nerves. Only a couple of mystics of the guitar, that also know each other inside-out and in harmony, can achieve this. And you two managed it with great respect towards both the music and the instrument.
You guys talked into us with one guitar as eloquently as two pianists do with one piano. Moreover, here we have a smaller in physical size instrument with an equally sound result. And that' s magic!
