They sound pretty fine for the price! But I am listening from a laptop with crappy speakers but up close it sounds good, I mean that's what the mic stand is for, to move the mic to be close to your mouth for the best sound quality
Can I ask, does your microphone auto connect to your computer when you boot, or do you have to replug it? My current PnP microphone doesn't do that as per the manufacturer...

I think the multi channel recording issue could be solved by vb-audio meeter and recording multi channel on OBS. Not sure if multi channel recording is possible on audacity
Hi Pang, um, it's not possible to record multiple channels on Audacity with a USB microphone. Though it will work on other DAWs by using ASIO4ALL on Windows or the aggregated device on Mac.
perhaps for future mic comparisons you may want to take a look at frequency response, pickup pattern (cardioid, supercardioid etc) and the UI/UX of their drivers/software. Great video tho! I've always been an XLR to audio interface kinda guy but i might just get one of these for the convenience and ease of use
Hi Lw Tan, yes, I'm afraid that it picks up the environment sound because it's a pretty sensitive condenser mic, which it's not pretty good at background noise rejection. If that noise is your first concern when it comes to using microphones, a dynamic model is a better-suited option for you.

The $60 Samson C01U Pro has excellent background noise rejection, full bodied sound pickup and is built like a tank. It even works with smartphones/tablets with the use of an OTG adapter.

The mic should be mounted on the other side of the shock mount, so it will not block the mute button and gain knob
