it's sad really, i think that, obviously this person could benefit from finding other sources of dopamine, of feeling loved, appreciated and useful, and her husband has no clue on how to help those impulses, she can't be expected to relay what it is that she even needs, she just knows that there's always been something missing, and she feel comfortable in knowing the people around her to indulge her, but not her, just her fantasies, and then talk about it behind her back, she needs assistance, i doubt she'd be able to get that with this guy's frame of mind

Ways to break the wife out of her Bret Hart obsession: 1. Start dressing and acting like Bret Hart. Not original wrestler Bret, but modern day elderly Bret! Bring up Bill Goldberg kicking you in the head at every opportunity and absolutely trash the guy. Annoy her with "Who are you to doubt..." jokes. Like if there's someone she doesn't like, bring that person up, and say they are a real bang up guy.
2. Act like Owen Hart. Constantly prank her, put spicy hot sauce in her food and hide her clothes and shoes in unreachable places, locked up with 50 padlocks that she'll have to get bolt cutters to break open. Whine about how you're tired of living in the shadow of Bret Hart and brag about how you beat him at WrestleMania. Tell her that you taught Bret everything he knows and that he always has to cheat to beat you. Rub sardines in her face while holding her in the camel clutch. Prank call her and pretend to be some obnoxious jerk. Get her really ticked off and challenge her to a fight and to meet her outside. Laugh when she goes storming out and there's no one there.

Hot take: I was never a fan of Bret Hart. I just never seen what the fuss was about and to me he was the 90’s version of Kenny Omega… “the most boring there ever was, I’d rather watch paint dry”.

You know who stole Bret's gimmick? Taz. Both had the two colors. And cool catch phraises. But not much else but ring work. Personality wise Bret was more grungy rockstar type. Taz was more Redhook streets guy.
