My team Chesterfield will finish in the play offs minimun. We'll be back in league one within two seasons.
An insane fact:
Since promotion/relegation between the Football Conference, now the National League (the highest tier of non-league) and the 4th tier (lowest tier of the Football League) was introduced, starting from the 1986/87, there haven't been any seasons in which a newly-promoted team from non-league in the 4th division ended up going staight back down in the first season.
Bromley are by far the weakest though. They are going straight down.

As a Notts County fan, I think that we may make 6th place but hope for more. We have to go for promotion. The aim is to sort out the defense and if we do that, we stand a good chance of going for automatic. I think that Chesterfield will do well. The addition of Paddy Madden is a key signing. He's deadly in front of goal. Although I don't have faith in the bookies. So much can change in mid season.
As a Bradford City fan I'm gutted you got Matty Platt from us, defensively a very solid player for this level but not much of a ball player so he may get caught out a few times so you will have to work around that a bit. Other than that you have a solid defender there who should help tighten up your defence, good luck for next season I like county so hope you do well.

Great video, good league 2 knowledge. I am a Walsall fan. We have not had a promotion season since 2007 feels like forever and are desperate to go up. I can see us in the top 10 next year but will need some good signings to make the playoffs. MK Franchise, Gillingham and Bradford would be my automatic picks with Wimbledon being suprise challangers.

As a Chesterfield fan I'm looking forward to games against clubs closer to home like Notts County and Doncaster. A far cry from the Southern/London National League! (Gateshead and York City aside). I wonder if Bromley will get rid of their horrible plastic pitch? Lots of teams in these lower leagues have keepers who hoof the ball 3/4 of the way down the pitch and attacking threats come ftom long throws and high balls. Get three good centre halves to deal with route one stuff and press the keeper at the other end and the quality based teams in league 2 will do well SUPER video by the way.
Bromley HAVE to remove the plastic pitch or they are not allowed in the EFL
I think if Notts county keep langstaff and jodi jones, and have a defensive rebuild, they'll quite easily get promoted.

As a chesterfield fan I’m very excited about next year as the manager is brilliant, very experienced and plays good football but I would be happy with top 3 or maybe even top 5 however, I do think they have got a good chance at the league

Gillingham have appointed Mark Bonner. Has a promotion with Cambridge Utd on his CV. They for me could be up there for winning the L2 title as well as promotion. They have the squad to do it, just need a very decent summer window.

as a chesterfield fan i would absolutely LOVE it if we managed back to back promotions, we had a fantastic season last year, i think that the signings that we have made so far are great and will definitely help us, i could see us getting in the playoffs but i reckon top 3 might be a bit of a stretch, still would be happy for it to happen though! great video, keep up the good work mate

so what happens to the Cods wjen their thieving owner gets hit with the Proceeds Of Crime Act judgement and has to find a way to take all the money he's infested in them back out of the club? Also if Critchley gets off to a bad start in League One this season I can quite see Charlie moving down the coast to come home to Bloomfield Road. wouldn't surprise me if the cards drop out of the Football League this season and begin an inexorable slide back down to where they came from in the North West Counties League

Really good video m8 tbh, apart from a few teams in the top 7 that I'd change... yes I do think Chesterfield will do well, just as I do Carlisle, but for me port vale have every chance of squeezing into the playoffs but realistically will be top 10 at best... and yes I agree mk will be a top challenger for automatic, as I do Doncaster and Gillingham, but regardless of them being my team or not I think the bookies are talking total bollox regards walsall finishing 11th again, if we end up settling for the playoffs which is a minimum obviously I'll take that, but I really can't see us not being in the top 3 you'll see.... anyway I hope every team has a good season and wish you all the best for 24/25..... apart from that tinpot 2bob club port vale and their deluded pot-banging, clay-head fans.. Chesterfield will need to sign a new defence to have any chance of top seven. Concede way too many goals against very ordinary opposition. I think they’ll be like Notts last season who were found out by October.
We wasn't found out we lost our Manager to Swansea which screwed us big time we was 4th when he left and went down to 17th and ended up 14th .
What you're forgetting is that we(chesterfield), played ultra attacking because we basically could in the NL😂 we will play a slightly different version of our tactic and paul cook has said we will sign defenders, it's an absolute certain considering we have one LB, short at CB, and have one RB😂

League 2 is actually insane
The PL is predictable. We know which teams will be competing for the title. the EFL is far more interesting. Not many clubs have big transfer budgets and with the possible exception of League 1 most of the clubs in each division are of a similar standard.

Even if we keep macca langstaff and jodie and make a few good signings.i think we will be in a relegation battle as we still have Stuart Maynard as head coach and personally I don't think he's the right guy to get us promoted out of this league
I'm still on the fence with Maynard. I'm surprised people rarely mention Dan Crowley as a key player - he had a great season, scored a bunch of goals and his close-control is exceptional. If we can sort out the defense we have a shot at promotion, but it's a big if as they are the poorest I can remember in my 63 years as a County fan!

Edit: Not a Colchester fan, but live there and I would rate them to do fairly well next season. Top half should be realistic in my view.
