The iron rails, the paneling, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets, the flooring, the amber Plexiglas, and the green bathroom fixtures in the basement scream 60s to me.

I grew up in first a 1969 single wide, then a 71 double wide, and then a 75 double wide, which I still live in today. This one still has the paneling, linoleum, formica, and yellow glass in the front door. But the 71 was totally Austin Powers, fake wood, weird light fixtures, yellow glass, orange carpet, cheap black metal "wrought iron" imitations, the works. My aunt & uncle own it now and use it for storage, lol.

This joint SCREAMS early 70s, disco, shag vans, bell bottoms. Tasteless and tacky, VERY dated now. Funny how today's trendy or avant garde becomes tomorrow's amusing anachronism, while stuff made in a traditional manner still looks inviting, old but solid and classy.

The ceilings are like mini home ceilings. I don't think modular homes were being made back then, Mom's mini home was built in 1980, she bought it in 1987 or 1988.

We were knocking a house down about 3yrs ago and during the walk thru I spotted a raccoon den in one of the bedrooms.i walked into the next one and found a haunting sight, wish I had taken pictures.girls room looked like she was going to come back any minute, stereo system, bed unmade, clothes on rack,no animal dens.i had to jump over a hole in floor to get there.

Lonnie Daniels I curious in that case were any of the electronics removed before house knocked down, as some older electronics, such as CRT displays may have much larger amounts of lead, if made before lead paint banned and before there was a focus on reducing lead in items such as TVs?

Cool place. When the webs get dusty the spiders move and make different webs.
Can you look in kitchen cabinets when exploring? I love seeing old dishes, gadgets and stuff.

  • @lgblgb7489
    @lgblgb7489 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Poor Rocky; seems he expired recently - wonder how he got in? Cobwebs are long-abandoned spider webs that start to collect airborne dust and particles - I think what makes them so creepy is knowing they come from insects, and being silk, tend to cling to you when you brush by them.
Wonder what happened to the owners? With all those spiders, I wouldn’t be surprised if their web-wrapped, desiccated corpses aren’t hanging in the attic...

Makes me wonder if the last owners/tenants didn't have a huge spider problem when they lived there. I don't mind seeing a mouse (I've had pet rats in the past), but some of those webs were massive! Can you imagine what's living in those walls?! :( I just can't help thinking that the last residents must have been battling spiders 24/7! And the spiders obviously won the fight! Also, I have to say that I really don't like that '70s "slap-panelling-on-everything-in-sight" look. It's depressing.

  • @colleenhelminiak1429

Definitely early 1970s decor there.....If it has been empty for a really long time and the temperature and humidity is right, makes for a spiderweb h*** - can totally relate to that lol. Thanks for taking us with - great way to help celebrate birthday :-)

I don't think it's been abandoned too long since the home is in pretty nice shape. Spiders don't need long to reproduce and make their homes. Most of the stuff is gone and the stuff left behind is the stuff they didn't need/care for.

1980s bungalow Noah: the spider webs are gross but they may not have been there all that long. We are battling similar cobwebs in our little Texas home right now. The spiders are really disgusting with their long, long legs too. If we don't dust daily in 3 days our place is covered with cobwebs like in the house in the video. Fortunately, we do NOT have a dead raccoon in any of our bedrooms! Thanks, Jeannie in Texas

My husband & I built a house in 1981, it had the exact same 2 sided cabinets in the kitchen, identical flooring & design... so I say that this house was built around that time. I would suggest to you in future when your in houses like this not knowing what your going to encounter to wear a mask as you seen the dead raccoon i'm sure he had a few shits in there and if you look it up that could be very damaging to your self in many ways, even the dry shit is worse........if you look in the flashlight you can see at the light the dust and crap in the air from disturbing the area, and your breathing that shit in, clearly an old person probably lived there looking at the chair in living room...and as long as there are those flies in the window, there will be spiders, lots of food for them, especially being able to lay eggs on dead animals. just be careful of the air in the place, never mind the smell.

Maybe good to bring a few rags or cheap duster with handle on some of these abandoned home explores that way you can get some of the cowebs out of ya face. Cheers

Oh man.....grossed me out too, in all the videos I have been watching of abandoned places, this one has the most spider webs of any other place. Neat explore otherwise. Dead raccoon must've grossed you out too...hee.hee. Thanks for the tour.

Those are not spiderwebs they are cobwebs. Cobwebs are made from a massive accumulation of dust

Those webs are horrific, I wonder where the spiders are? Dead raccoon decor is pretty gross too. Not a bad place otherwise but I'd give it a pass. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, Noah.

I know right? Alot of them were dead or there exoskeleton is just left behind. Happy thanks giving to you as well!

Dude, that was really a really tacky house. But the dead racoon did add a bit of character. I can take the cobwebs but not the mice. Some people keep them as pets and some people voted for Joe Biden. Anyway you look at it, something smells like a rat.
    Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving.

Noah is afraid of cobwebs. Shiey would not only walk thru those , he would spend the night in the basement!

Spiders eat bugs - vegetarian spiders do not exist. So if there are so many spiders here is likely because there were a lot of insects to catch. The dead racoon could be a givaway: enormous amounts of flies for the spiders to feast on. Gross but that is Nature's cycle.

I keep picturing you standing on a chair screaming 'eek, eek, eek', and surrounded by mice and cobwebs. Grow a ball Noah, or explore abandoned toy boxes!

Noah don't go in these properties if you don't like cobwebs
