- In this episode of Iron CIty Garage Clay gets to work on the 53 GMC 150. This truck was purchased out of the Nebraska auction a couple months back. ** Disclaimer a Will it Run video is a 50/50 chance if it will run or not at-least to the viewer. We purposely dont call them restoration videos because HINT HINT we are not a restoration shop are just getting someone to a good starting point for their future project. I'm 63 this truck brought back some memories, my god parents had one they used in their service station with a big tank to deliver kerosene to the farms in the area. A little Senior lady grew strawberries she had a big rack on the back covered in canvas where she delivered her berries Market ,was a sight to see a 5 ft maybe 100 lb gray head through the windshield but she got there.
Farm women get it done.

A lock ring wheel is not a widow maker. It’s the split rims, the rims that split into two halve pieces in the center that are widow makers. Besides, any two piece wheel should be placed in a tire cage when inflating.

In 1953 the only difference between a GMC and a Chevy was in the center of the dash it said general motors instead of Chevrolet. Google it. The dash didn’t change until 1954
The guy in the stocking cap that's handing out orders should be doing something instead of running his mouth I tried to watch this channel a few times now the guy in the stocking cap ruins the whole video with his attitude
