I want to be friends with her. not because I want to trauma bond, but because outside of the horrors she endures she is a light. she is so supportive and bubbly and very outspoken. she’s the kind of friend you want to go to because she will validate your feelings and make you feel heard. she’s is very knowledgeable and she is powerful. I love her so much. I’m watching and hearing all her poems again tonight and I feel safe.
“I am trying to sleep on the front porch of forgiveness. I am too young to be this lonely. Still, do not mistake all of my honest open for empty. I didn’t leave the door of my love unlocked so you could mistake my sadness for a shelf. I do not have room to carry anyone’s chaos but my own. If I sink, it will be in my own ocean. If I float, it will be on the ship I built with my own hands.” •• THE SHIP I BUILT by Blythe Baird
Blythe, you share the same last name as an ex.. I still come here and listen to you even though every time I see your name I'm reminded of the last day I spent with him living in an industrial complex above a place where they made cement things like fireplaces, being on the ground and kicked.. I'm still here though. Words are powerful
I know this definitely isn't as nice as captions, but if you click the 3 little dots next to save and then click "open transcript" you can see all the works with time stamps on the left side. Hope this helps
Thank you for your honest story of your trauma. I too have experienced trauma in different places from different faces, yet, like you, I've learned they are the same beast. :-)
Blythe Baird may possibly be my favorite poet of all time. Every poem of hers resonates with me so much.
I ship her and Neil if they got together and broke up the internet would crash
“recovery is hard work. not wanting to die is hard work.”
She's such a queen, honestly
i don’t personally relate to any of her poems, but she is my absolute favorite. her way with words is unreal.
i’ve read this poetry book probably twenty times and none of the words ever get old.
Love that the first poem already is The Kindest Thing She Almost Did, absolutely love that one ♥

Hi
Before she realizes im hELLA GAY
shes not even ugly. she talks about these calories and shit but like o.0 idk. I dont think shes ugly. or fat or anything.
That’s not how eating disorders work. They don’t discriminate based on size, age, or gender.
Does she have anything else to talk about ? 😑
do you have anything else to watch
@@lauraxx8014 Yes. I took 3 min out of a 24 hour day to watch a clip and commented my opinion because I can. Thank u
