I haven't seen anyone so passionate about their Camira since I was a kid. Its a miracle it goes. I don't think I have seen one on the road for at least 20 years.
Makes me miss my beast JB sl/x when i was 10y.o as a paddock basher. It continued running for over a decade. Did a billion handbrakies, jumps , reverse doughnuts, key ups , mud bog runs thru a swampy spot between two dams in a hilly valley our big 4x4 tractor wouldn't ever get accross in winter. Had to hit the door handle high mud doing at least 80km/h or she wouldnt make it across. I could get it into 3rd doing a burnout. The engine absolutely singing & if i could hold my breath long enough pop both tyres. Lost count of how many welsh plugs popped out. The thing would be glowing red steaming like a train. Let it cool refill and go again. We all had so much fun as kids thrashing that car around 80acres. I could get it upto 120km/h in our longest paddock only if i shifted just rite. Video of it in action on my channel. Crank the sound. It had a custom 3" straight pipe exhaust after all the original bounced off. 😂
Pretty much aye, its a rig im trying to get rid of it though as the clutch went and id rather someone do something with it as its just sitting in a paddock at the moment.
Why? Why dig up evil from the grave :( I WAS sleeping well knowing that all Camiras had been turned into cat food cans, until this... The world is cruel :(

Car hasn't run in 20 years, better give it an Italian tune up🤣🤣
could do but the clutch went.
Back in the day I always marveled at how much better the Camira's dash lights were than the Commodores of the era.
i agree on that.
Thought I was watchin a bran new car bloke....She's immaculate
🤣
was but the clutch thought otherwise.

The Camira resurgence is at hand, imagine if they become valuable collector items
It was interesting seeing the dial on the gauge cluster being some economy gauge rather than a tacho, I haven't seen a car do that before.
vacuum gauge.
Watching now
cheers.
loosen the clutch adjustment nut you need a little free play.
