To me the toughest thing a man can do is show his true emotions in defeat He left it all out on the table and failed , like many of us we feel his sorrow
The reason i got into chess was because of Danya always a big soul you can feel the compassion he feels for ivanchuk.. A living legend in ivanchuk dude competed against PRIME KASPAROV let that sink in
1:22 The relief in winning such a tense and hard thought game can't be held back. Ivanchuk is so relieved to have won that game he breaks down. What a player. You can see how much winning means to him.
Naroditsky hace un tiempo por respeto al gran Vasily Ivanchuk "Chuky" del tablero en los 90s y los 2000, grande Vasily Ivanchuk una leyenda viviente del ajedrez de élite 👏👏👏👏
The expression on Daniel's face at the end showed it all. Not happy about winning, and compassionate about his opponent, who was winning but lost due to a few seconds. stayed sitting there out of respect for his opponent. There really is something to say about this 3-minute chess, regarding its fairness... I think a new rule should actually be made, that if both sides are under 5 seconds, that another 30 sec should be added or something. Many situations where the winning side loses on time would be avoided. After all, is this a test of chess, or your physical reflexes and speed? You can see even on Daniel's face that he was struggling immensely towards the end due to the difficulty. White is always at a slight disadvantage when playing bullet/rapid (if he's right-handed).
no it's fine like that because when you do this people will start to think and calculate more and that's not the objectif of blitz at least in my opinion

The title is wrong, it should have been 'Daniel Naroditsky's Moments of Agony before, during and after defeating Vasyl Ivanchuck'. What was going on in the minds of both players, apart from this game, about how to manage what was at stake?! If Daniel would make one weak move, people would say he was trying to give away the game on purpose. And at the same time, that would be the ultimate humiliation for Ivanchuck. Then, what can you do after the game has ended this way and you have to witness the collapse of this able opponent? I watched the agony of Naroditsky more than Ivanchuck's. How careful he avoids eye contact, how he's torn between his own contradictory feelings and the empathy for his colleague he is not allowed to show...
@@petraduskova8178 I think that Naroditsky wouldn't enjoy winning this game anyway, but in general being able to stand your loss is an insult to the winner.
Thing is, Ivanchuk absolutely had him and was gonna win even after a mistake with g pawn. But his age and excessive stress had broke him before he could deliver his usual spectacular win.
