How to revert back to Google Search from Google Assistant - NO ROOT NEEDED

This video tells you how we can revert the new Google Assistant and replace it with the older Search widget.
This does not require root at all!
Note that this will not enable the NOW ON TAP option, but it will enable us to use the other features, like searching and using the text based commands available in Google Now.
