I used to really like playing the piano, played like 2 hours a day every day. My parents told me it sounded horrible and to stop. One day it was gone, they told me it was broken, found out it wasn't broken, they trashed it. I was 8.
This was literally my entire life until 18 in a nutshell. Every time I went to my room, I had these 2 options. And every single time, it happened exactly like these 2 options.
I was the first one. Then became the second one. Got help from my counselor and listened to Jordan Peterson lectures. Turned back to number 1 (proud of myself everyday)
This is so true. Every single time I’m doing something productive, my mom or dad walk in on the exact moment that I finish and go on my phone. Literally every sing time
This is so relatable My mom went shops and told me to do my homework. I was almost done and I had hand cramps so I took a break and then my mom came home and got her slipper out 😭😭
I used to do this, but the other way round, be on my phone or doing whatever and as soon as my parents got home i’d start my homework and they’d say “you can take a break now”
This is absolute fax with piano, back when I lacked motivation I would do the second one, but now the first thing happens to me so often. I just show my screen time tho
