      That subtle pain can be partial torsion and it's impossible to diagnose due to blood flow on doppler

    Yeah, pain that is related to hernia surgery. The docs don’t tell you about potential damage done to the vas deferrens, and testicle, primarily, because men’s health issues are often ignored, and men are just expected to just deal with it

    I was having sporadic, daily burning/aching type pain in my scrotum, often when I was sitting upright in a chair or lying in bed at night. Would radiate up into my pelvic area, too. No swelling, no blood in urine or semen. Had been exercising regularly but had to stop. Thought maybe I pulled something. My regular Dr. thought it was prostatitis. Prescribed antibiotics which helped but therm After about a week of being off the antibiotics, pain reappeared. I realized I couldn't keep tolerating the pain, so I went to a urologist and he diagnosed Pelvic Floor pain. Sounds weird but he prescribed pelvic floor therapy. After about 3 sessions, pain started going away. Now, 3 months later, no pain at all. Totally got my life back.

    Non bacterial prostatitis is code for doctors who don't know about pelvic floor disfunction. If you are having sharp pain in your testicle it could be your hypertonic pelvic floor flaring up your pudendal nerve. If you are having pain after ejaculation or defecating and you have to urinate more often, it could be your pelvic floor. See a pelvic floor therapist who does internal therapy, you will not regret it. FYI pudendal nerve pain can be bad enough to make you pass out, it can change your life.

    It is scary, guys and I am scared too. But we can do this and thrive through the pain. If the pain becomes so bad, see a doctor. Once you see a primary care provider or a urologist, first mention the pain:
    -When it started,
    -What symptoms you noticed: peeing patterns, spasms, what sides ache, what you did or didn't do.
    Bring up if it could be these issues, and ask what tests are needed to get rid of each reason until you are certain it's not a big issue.
    Here's what I would ask my doctor:
    Is this prostatitis?
    Could this be epididymitis?
    Could this be Orchialgia?
    Pelvic floor spasms?
    Any tests that could help get rid of other reasons?
    Could consistent masturbation like 3x a day cause this pain?
    Any treatment options that aren't invasive?
    They will run some tests, suggest painkillers, and if they are negative nothing is anatomically wrong. Of course, if the pain is still bad, there are other solutions like particular medications, seeing a physical therapist for pelvic floor issues, injections or procedures like nerve blocking. Don't be afraid of the future or having surgery; it will probably won't lead to something so severe. Even so, you'll be better.

      @eduar ed Yeah, my pain has been here or there. Sometimes even months apart, so it's not like it's constant. But if I accidentally touch them wrong they can hurt for days in a row. Even just jumping can be enough force to make them hurt. I think I have varicocele, which is the enlargement of the veins in the scrotum.

    • @shinypotatoe

    Put on ice for like 10 minutes until the cratum shrinks in and testicles hold in back. This pain might be caused by testicles falling way down falling muscles and vessels down putting tension on them. By freezing the scrotum back it pulls everything back in place.. It helps a lot.

    I appreciate this video. I have been to 3 urologists in the past 2 months, all in the same group. They sure did not explain stuff like this to me. It was somewhat uncaring and feeling like an island by myself! They threw up their arms so to speak like they have no idea. I can understand that, but give us guys some comfort of putting our minds at ease. This is very bothersome.
    I have had the right testicle pain for a good part of the past 3 months. They told me inflammation of the Epididymitis and did not get any antibiotics although I had penis inflammation. I have had no discharge just an ache, urin clear each time. I can walk and do pelvic floor exercises but do not feel confident in running yet. I took 8 days of Doxycillion which had some success because my primary doctor felt something had to be done. I take Ibroprophen and seems to help a bit also, but this continues.
    Anyway Dr., with all this, I have had back and piriformis issues on the right side, all at the same time! In your estimation, can there be a connection with a compressed nerve somewhere causing my groin issues? I feel, treat the nerve and this pain maybe history. What is your thoughts?

    I find myself watching this video again and I’m very surprised at how dismissive he is about testicular pain, it reminds me of my dad who went to the doctor because almost every morning for two weeks, he woke up with a headache so he took Tylenol and then he was fine. The doctor told him he was fine, it was probably stress related. Two week later he had a seizure while showering and three months after that he was dead from brain cancer. Also, My mother was in the hospital with chess pain that shot into her arm, they did some test said there was nothing wrong with her and I said she was in so much pain she fell out of her hospital bed, I told the two doctors this and they said she had an anxiety attack. I told them that was no anxiety attack, they said they were going to release her the next day, I was freaking out trying to plan what to do next, well I never had the chance she was put in the ICU at 3am and she died 10 hours later. It has been my experience that when doctors have no clue about what’s wrong, they default to there is nothing wrong but never ever trust these doctors, find someone who will listen as long as you feel something is not right.

    Hello everyone,
    I see many of us are suffering with this testicular pain. I would post my symptoms here every 2-3 days just to let some of you get an idea if your symptoms are matching mine. I know its not an ideal thing to do bcoz everyone is different, but this could provide some relief in case i would get better
    Since 4-5 days now i have intermittent but mostly constant mild testicular pain that becomes moderate at night, never severe though,
    urine test-negative for any blood, bacteria WBC or nitrites
    Blood test-normal for all CBC and kidney Hba1c
    physical exam- doc hasn't done US and thinks nothing serious going on
    other symptoms i have : frequent urination on few days with 2-3 times urination at night, mild burning inside penile urethra after peeing but this is not always there, after masturbation i get this mild-moderate pain in urethra that goes away after 4-6 hours completely
    Will post again after 2 days

Thank you for your video and I feel better knowing its normal for things like this to happen and if this goes on ill go to the doctor and see what they see, I need to say this never happen until my doctor put on water pills, two different kinds and I've had ppl ask why two? Actually, such is common with diuretics ("Water Pills") The reason why is because these medications can interfere with electrolytes and can therefore cause pain in the muscle tissue. Notably there is a significant amount of smooth muscle in the area of the testicles.

    I came to this video, cause my right testicular was very sore for solid 4 days. I was worried thinking having cancer, and freaking out. Then after feeling them and making sure they have no lumps. The pain was getting worse and worse. I couldn’t even walk. And one of my older friends had the same experience and told me if I was wearing any tight underwear. I realised I wore my tight underwear and tight skinny jeans once for 10 hours work shift. Just 4 days ago. What Did I do was slept with no under wear while sleeping. Now the pains gone. I was freaking out a lot thinking why this pain is not going away. Try this it would help believe me.

    Hey Doc, so I have had testicular pain for 8-10 months. I have been to two urologists, treated for epididymitis without success and I had a bilateral epididymectomies two months ago. I'm still in pain. Ultrasound shows small collections of fluid that are reported as "normal" after scrotal surgery. There are times I'm crying due to the pain. Right now, it is about a 5/10 and aches into my stomach on the inguinal regions bilaterally. I think the doc is running out of thoughts for this. Since I have had back surgeries years ago, I was told it might be that. I went to the back doctor and he didn't think there was anything he could do to help. Am I just at the point of living with this pain? Or do I push for microdenervation? I know you said you haven't had much luck with that. That concerns me. I don't want an orchiectomy. So many reasons I don't want that. And there's always the possibility of phantom pain that lives on. I've heard about botox in the cord. Any other thoughts?

    Testicular pain may caused by havin problems in spain, back pain. It seems that you feel the pain in your testicles but you really feel is the pain radiating from around your spain. Sadly, this is personal experience. :( The pain in the testicles and around it vanishes instantly when I can lay down and the nervesaround my spain are not squeezed. Bicycling accident 2002 chronic left testicular pain for a year or so.. wore an athletic support and ibruprofen. Got tired of that visited with a Urologist who suggested an epididymectomy upon examination. Had a nerve block instead of anesthesia and associated risks. The block was only partial as soon as the surgery began he hit a spot that caused me to jump off the table.(Hmm! i wonder if the knife slipped a tiny bit?) Ended up with a spinal headache which required a blood patch and another trip to the OR. Minimal results in my case. Visited with another renown urologist and a scotal US which was normal. "Why doc am I still having pain then?" where is it specifically he asks? and I pointed to the area(s) starting in the left side of the back wrapping around down into the groin. He said its the SI joint go see a chiroprator.. which I have many times and it helps short term. Also, had physical therapy and SI joint injection with cortisone which proved more diagnostic then therapeutic. Apparently then its not just the SI joint !? Temporary Spermatic cord block maybe? but I was told it could cause permanent numbness in the family jewels. Whether it was temporary (and worked) or permanent. Pudental nerve and other pathways and names I can't pronounce that apparently some type of block could be done as well. I feel as though I've been through the mill and then some and still suffer. To be honest if I had to do this over in my case I may have avoided the surgery longer suffering and annoyed by it. But, I do question what happened during that surgery and perhaps some tissue and nerve endings being damaged whether the knife slipped or not? Pathology I was told showed the epididymis was damaged/diseased from the bicycling accident(?) The trauma itself to the epididymis without any of the rest of all this might have been all it was. Did it need to be removed? Only God knows...My suggestion even at this juncture. Be patient and go the conservative path as long or as much as possible. Thats my STORY and we all one don't we and it is still being written.
    God Bless all those that read this and I pray it has done some good to other kind souls out there that are suffering, fed up and still in limbo.
    arrivederci e i migliori auguri ...

      Hi,
      8 months ago i had a varicolectomy, the cause of my grade 3 varicocele was the excessive stretching done by my trainer (knee to chest stretch) after working out. Up to now, there is still discomfort when i am sitted for a long period of time like 60 to 80 minutes, as per my second ultrasound, everything seems to be normal except for that .25 epididymal cyst versus spermatocele findings which is not (most likely) the contributor of pain according to the Urologist that i consulted with. Accdg to him tje pain could neuropathic, he prescribed lyrica, there is improvement but the pain is still there. The pain feels like a stabbing sensation and there is also this tickling sensation (which is not a discomfort) that i feel after the varicocelectomy. I would like to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you so much and god bless

    • @tapeinosG5011
      @tapeinosG5011 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Luis,
      The success rates of many of these procedures is fairly poor and risky. In my case I believe there was a slight slip of the scalpel (the nerve block was not done correctly) just as the surgery began likely nicking a nerve compounded with scar tissue. I read that somewhere between (10-40%) of patients experience chronic neuropathic pain from the surgery. One of the treatments for this is (SCAB) Spermatic cord anesthesia. This is used prior to denervation surgery which is quite risky but it can bring good relief if(?) your one of the fortunate ones. SCAB has been in the urological and anaesthesia literature for 40 years or more. Any urologist/anaesthesiologist worth their salt should know how to do this procedure which can take place in just a few minutes of time with the risk of bruising at the injection site and possible increased pain temporarily. They have found that a series of these injections can lower the pain level considerably preventing the need for more invasive treatment. I'm seriously looking into it at this time. Other than that its rest, NSAID's, cold packs, elevating the scrotum by placing a rolled up towel/cloth elevating the scrotum while sitting has been helpful. Sitting or *bike riding which I love is a *no no presently. This is one of those things that there is not enough money to fund research and treatments for even though it's quite pervasive for a lot of men. Dry needling, chiropractic care, physical therapy, acupuncture etc may be helpful and of coarse prayer. I hope this has done some good. WE nee to Be cautious about jumping ahead of ourselves and not allowing the body to heal. Sometimes that will involve suffering for a while longer allowing the body to heal rather than running to doctors and specialist all over the place looking for a quick fix.
      Pray you find the care, compassion, expertise and relief your seeking. Cordiali Saluti, Raffaleo

    For me testicular pain was the first initial symptom. Later, it progressed to urinary retention. Turned out to be a perinureal cyst in the lumbar region at arround L1-L2. I have what I believe is a appendix testis. I've had an ache on my left testicle with what started as a slightly smaller than a bb, which would get hard when it would ache. It has grown into like 3 small bb's stuck together, when I massage it it hurts but feels good at the same time. I was 21 when it started I am now 45.

      I’ve been having super weak dull pain in my testes for 3 months, sometimes it seems to be coming from the left other times it’s the right but usually it’s both, doesn’t feel like it’s my testes though it feels like it’s the nerves cause sometimes it goes down my leg. I read an article that said dull pain is a sign of cancer it was one of those click next for the next page so they can get more money from the views. I then made an apointment and after setting it up I TH-camd it and this video made me feel a lot better, my balls themselves don’t have any irritation at all it just seems like an ache that comes out of nowhere but ends in my balls, really weird feeling. Still gunna go to the apt now tho just to feel better

    When I was 14 almost 15 way back in 2001, I had to have my right testicle removed due to torsion. Could you possibly do a video on testicular torsion explaining the symptoms and if a guy will still be fertile enough to make a girl pregnant with just one ball?

    Hi,
    Some men complain pain in their testicles while on TRT due to testicular atrophy while others don't complain any such pain despite having testicular atrophy. Why is it so? Also is the testicular atrophy on TRT always irreversible or it too depends on patients?
    Thanks!

    • @yourology1016
      @yourology1016  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Abhishek,
      The causes of testicular pain are a tricky thing to diagnose with certainty. Being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has the potential to cause atrophy due to reduction in testicular androgen production and reduced sperm production. The testes can loose some of their firmness and size. Stopping TRT may enable reversal of this process if that man's body begins producing tesosterone again and it may take 6-9 months for the hormonal axis to kick back in. I hope that helps

    • @1705abhishek
      @1705abhishek 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yourology101 Thanks for the nice explanation. Just one more question- Could TRT cause or worsen BPH?

    Don’t know if this only happens to me but I am having pain in my right nut, pain comes and goes, is been probably 25 years, but some times pain is hard, I notice that when I have the pain and I have intimate time with my wife at the end, pain goes away, don’t know if that relaxes me or something but is not only one time this has happened, maybe is stress? Best of luck to everyone
