They will almost always have two limos; a primary and a backup. The president will usually be in the rear limo, so that if it breaks down or is otherwise disabled he can be moved quickly to the front limo and be driven away without having to maneuver around the stuck one.

They also have Helicopters from HMX-1 (Marine One helicopters) nearby on EVERY trip regardless of whether they plan to use them, while they might not plan on flying them they bring them so they are ready if they need to use Helicopters to get the President out of a dangerous situation.
