I'm jealous of all the kids who get to grow up with this game as their childhood Mario Kart game. This game really is something special

Bro when I saw the credits I was sobbing. I got the WiiU version when I was almost six, and I miss the times I had on the original Mario Kart. Now half way done with high school, this game is finally put to rest. So much time passed by.

Not just a secret ending, the true ending. This game has now had its final update. There won’t be any more new features or changes to this game. It will remain what it is now until the end of time. If only every character from all the other MK games could be played, but sadly, the only one I believe we’re missing and never going to get is ROB from DS.
DK Jr is obviously forgotten. He was only known around the 90s.

Dang.. I remember first getting this game for wii u and its ending.. This game had a long run and you know mario kart 10 is around the corner. I will cherish this game for the rest of my life just like i did with mario kart DS. ❤

Imagine an all cup tour of every single course in random order and the 96th one being the wii rainbow road. If this all cup tour was real and someone won 1st of all 96 on 200cc they’d be a true legend.

All i can say is that Nintendo brought the best Mario kart Game since 2014, for almost a decade, as a childhood legend since i was 12 years old playing it in the wii u on 2015, and 2017 as 14 years old
And its enough to make a man cry seeing how far it comes
This has been such a good moment to be a Wii Fan. Now im expecting to only see two wii tracks in the next game, but i wont mind.
It's nice that they included the original Super Mario Kart credits theme at the beginning and the end.

This to me basically confirms that Mario Kart 8 is over, and they probably won't be porting this game on their next console. Cannot wait for Mario Kart 10!

Mario Kart 8 was just an amazing Mario Kart Game Nintendo has made and the game that I played in my childhood and it was fantastic cause I played Mario Kart 8 on my Wii U for the first time as a kid and playing it on the Switch now it was amazing and the Booster Course Pass was also amazing as well. And Mario Kart 8 was amazing cause you got all new and remake tracks, new characters to play as and new Mii costumes. So I was 11 Years Old when Mario Kart 8 came out on Wii U and played it and now I'm 20 Years Old since I have been playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the Switch. But now it has to come to end since 9 Years RIP Mario Kart 8 2014-2023. And also I noticed that they didn’t add both Kirby and Captain Falcon in the game as playable characters but it would be cool if they were but hopefully in Mario Kart 9 they do in the next Mario Kart Game I hope.
Unrelated but when I finished this pass, I honestly thought back to my best friend (and for quite a while, he was also my romantic partner). I met him in 2013 so our friendship was still new and budding when this game first came out. We've had hard times before but we always learned something from it.
I'm not sure why - but I feel like this game helped bring me a new perspective on the last 9 years since. Times have changed for sure, but one thing has stayed the same; me and him. We still love and talk to each other just as always - and honestly I feel like that's what makes this go full circle for me. Across 9 years, the racing would finally come to an end, but the love never stopped.
