This was my first time using the D3500 for planespotting video, and honestly it was not very good. First of all, the footage was super shaky, because I stupidly didn't bring a tripod, and also, the D3500 does not have any kind of stabilization, other than in the lens, which this one didn't have. In the end I had to do post stabilization twice, to get it smooth enough. The mic quality is also not very good.
Focus is kinda weird, if you point it to sky it won't focus, so you would have to focus onto some background/scenery and then get it to focus. Also, if something is in the way (fence, etc.) it'll try to focus on that and sometimes not working-resulting in it being blurry.
