I have Rahu in 7th house of Cancer. I am makara Lagna. Rahu Mahadasha started in my childhood, continued in teenage and into my twenties. I have to say my education was disrupted multiple times during this mahadasha and I experienced lot of supernatural problems also (black magic etc)

I have Rahu on 7th. I married a woman from a foreign land. Darker in complexion than me too. We married very suddenly. No one expected. She was kind of a widow. You were perfect. I am currently running rahu dasa and mercury bhukti. Rahu is placed in my seventh house in virgo and its lord, mercury is placed in my third house and mutually aspected by jupiter which is placed in my ninth house. I remained single throughout my life and feel no regrets about it. There were interested and would be alliances which have been my disfavour as their interest were more on materialism. My seventh lord is combust by sun, which too has a mutual aspect of jupiter. I agree with you that I have to be mindful and watchful of my alliances irrespective of business, social or family. In the past, astrologers have forewarned me of my alliances and friends that might arise out of a social or business atmosphere. I was careful in that sphere and regard. Nevertheless, I was told that rahu's placement in virgo is great and should benefit me during its dasa. Anyway, I have passed the stage in life to reap the benefits should that really be. Left to be seen.
