I’ve been Able to travel through Asia, but Siargao is actually the first place where I solo traveled (not counting Europe bc Asia is a little more intimidating). I don’t think that guy had Down Syndrome; more likely he couldn’t speak english cause if he did, he wouldn’t have been able to open that coconut. And plus, he didn’t have that DS face/appearance too muscular/fit; and maybe it was his first time holding a camera. It’s not nice to assume in this situation; it offends people.. Other than that, he was a nice young man! This was cool vlog! Cheers! 😁🥂🎉

(in your opinion, but he was actually saying “dis” “yis” he has a southern accent, that’s the only english language he knows) is not an indication of having a down syndrome, aside fr having extra chromosome they have this definite common facial features as a indication which this guy didn’t. I don’t think he has any disability at all. Definitely just unable to speak english and his first time to use a camera, look how traditional he is opening the coconut, it just shows that some parts of the country are still left behind from modern lifestyle.
Finn we both stopped on the same beach spot! Yes that surfing beach along the road in Pacifico is a free paradise. I was with my family and the surfers are really kind in watching our car and warned us about the strong waves.
The way you captured the waves crashing into the rocks and seeing the water cascade down was very hypnotic to me. I love your work! I'm so touched how the young man was able to share coconuts with you. I'm personally too shy, I probably would have been shocked to be caught smashing a coconut open. Haha!
Finn, we have been watching your videos for the last 4/5 year now; I find myself switching to your videos over and over and it some how changed our outlook on life and how we want to live out the rest of our lives. So right now we are building up our infrastructure so that some day soon (2 to 4 yr) we will be able to live the life that you have introduced through your videos.....not exactly doing your kind of work but to just travel and get closer to what is real; and enjoy/experience/cherish the simplicity of life. Anyhow we are expecting a kid soon, and I want to ask you what you think of us naming the kid after you. Finn is not a normal Asian name for a Filipino/Vietnamese kid but we like it because it can also represent the fin; the component that can propel you through water when surfing or when Sherlyn swims around in her long fins:)

I just used that first song last week on my most recent post; it worked out great but goes much better with YOUR work. The drone shots of the waves on the rocks were the BEST I have ever seen hands down. I don't understand this just over 600 likes with well over 4,000 views, each one should have left a like for that footage alone; even the confused person who hit the thumbs down. Their finger surely must have slipped when attempting to click on the LIKE icon.

the tip of the coconut is soft you don't have to use power to break it... use a spoon and voila you can make a hole to drink the juice
