After listening to ASOT I realized I neen to stop making big room and stick to my trance/progressive music. As of last night I gave up the big room music and started making trance/progressive again and it honestly feels great. Just wanted to share.
don't be limited, producing many other genres is great for learning in general. but sticking to one only can be dangerous and you will hardly learn anything new.

Such good times to this song. 6 years ago I was just so into the wave of good music and shit that was coming through. I downloaded this pack of the best new tunes in 2011 if I remember correctly and this song was on it. I synced the pack to my phone and everyday to and from school I was listening to a new song on that pack and this song really caught my attention. It was just so melodic and had a nostalgic feel to it. Man, I remember the cold months when I would sit in my car and just sit and listen to this song in my earphones. Fuck those were good times. Thank you Arty!
This song gives you that feeling you can't describe, when the clock struck 12 at midnight, I was with my girlfriend watching the fireworks and I had this on my stereo which I brought, I played this as soon as the fireworks went and everyone started cheering, this was in Melbourne by the way. Fuck. This. Song. Is. Amazing.
Does it get any better than this? I'm not so sure! For me ,this is an utter classic,just can't keep still when this is on even if I'm driving....it's just bangin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's crazy to me is that Cole Plante is 17. I couldn't imagine being 17 and collaborating with the likes of Myon and Shane 54. That would feel so surreal.
It's too bad that this is yet another amazing song that was completely ripped off by mainstream artists like Justin Bieber, Will.i.Am and many more. I can't tell you how many similarities I see in many "new" songs that there are to trance. Glad to know the original stuff, and glad to have had this genre of music around to quite literally change my life. Long live trance

i see how you could think that, but there's several notes that are not the same, they're in different keys, have different progression, different synths (obviously), and are completely different genres. i think it's just a coincidence. also i happen to enjoy both songs. its true that pop artists often don't write their own music (someone else writes it for them), but i really don't believe Will.I.Am. would steal the melody of a chill song like this for something upbeat anyway. he's got talent, idk why he would need to steal it. and yes, i admit, somewhat grudgingly, that jb also has talent. they just aren't the most creative artists out there. yknow, theyre formulaic. thats the word im looking for.
