    thank you so much for sharing! I come from a small island called Saipan and a long line of master navigators. and practice the art of beads and call it our "lighatuttur", has been passed down generation to generation.
    unfortunately, my teachers back home are my aunts and not tech savvy, so I was bummed when I couldn't continue learning when I moved away from home. So I was sooooo overjoyed to find this on TH-cam! The crazy thing is when I asked where our traditional beads come from, nobody knew. I believe my ancestors traveled near and far to trade and barter with other cultures and places. this is so beautiful! I love the art and history. even if some history died with my ancestors.
    what you're doing is amazing and so inspiring! and can't wait to watch all your videos!

    Happy 2021 and stay safe !!! Wow , I just saw this 'x-pattern' on Samburu necklaces also ; never would have imagined it was done with 3 beads at a time , more an intricate way of weaving like a cross stitch ! Thanks again ! Love, Ester

    The belt you used as an example with orange colour ,the edge is different from the one you made now. It looks like the person or you forgot to put precious colour before adding 3 new colour. I am learning sesi, ❤️😁

    Hey hun, your work is beautiful and you are in detail thank you for this.
    How do you measure the size of the best according to the waist of the person? how do you do the measurements?

    • @fabulouslycrafts9756
      @fabulouslycrafts9756  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Kay, thank you so much for watching 😊😊. I find a string easy to use when measuring the waist, but please add a about 2 - 3 cm to the actual size, to make the belt not too tight. 😊😊

    Since there are different bead sizes which one do we use?

    • @fabulouslycrafts9756
      @fabulouslycrafts9756  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Palesa, thank you so much for watching 😄😄. For this video I used 2mm/ 8/0 sizes beads (they are the same size, but in different ways to call it).
      I would advise you to use any size you would prefer, but if you will be making a belt instead of a bracelet you will have to use bigger sized beads.
