    Great! There is someone that can speak English. We are from the Philippines and we have lots of TVS Ntorq here as of the moment. So I can suggest your channel on how to maintain our Ntorq.

    my ntorq front brake lever is so hard means i need to press hard to brake. can u know why it happens?

    • @mervynfernandes1
      @mervynfernandes1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Check the brake caliper assembly. There might be some stone stuck. If not open it and grease it.
      Open the front case and check the brake lever. Probably there is no grease added. So when pressing you might be getting friction. Also while you do this, open the break oil chamber, check for any debris.
      But first just try some WD-40 or any kind of liquid grease or oil. It might loosen up.

    When should i change my brake oil

    • @mervynfernandes1
      @mervynfernandes1  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Every 25,000 kms or 3 years, whichever comes first.
      Use DOT 4 brake oil it actually last longer and better tech.

    When should engine oil be changed?

    • @mervynfernandes1
      @mervynfernandes1  ปีที่แล้ว

      If your using regular mineral oil then change every 3000 km.
      If your using full or semi synthetic oil then change every 4500 km.
      I use synthetic oil since I go for long rides. It protects the engine better from wear and tear + you do get way better performance.
      My recommendation,

      Castrol: amzn.to/3TrxS8g

      @@mervynfernandes1ntroq engine oil in 880ml how can we use 800ml it can be damage engine

    • @mervynfernandes1
      @mervynfernandes1  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@boyerdebbarma99 not really. But yes do put what the company recommends. You will have to buy a 900ml or 1 ltr as that is the only next available option. But you may not get options in scooter oil, most oils in higher quantities come for geared bikes (wet clutch).
      You would have to buy a spare bottle and top up every service.

    It says DOT3 and you are using DOT4. NOT GOOD

    • @mervynfernandes1
      @mervynfernandes1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In my owners manual it said I could use either one and I preferred DOT 4 as it handles higher temperatures better, especially when your doing long rides in the summer.
      The chemical composition is not that different too. Only you have to make sure you bleed the old oil completely. I had got a bigger bottle so I could bleed a little bit of the new oil.
      I have done 5,000 km since brake fluid change and no issues yet.

      @@mervynfernandes1 ok great. I was asking about bleeding bro. I didn't notice it. That's why I asked you

    • @mervynfernandes1
      @mervynfernandes1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lesjinjoe110 there are 2 ways one would bleed brake oil. One being that you completely drain the old oil and then add fresh oil and the other being you top up while the oil bleeds.
      Most service technician use the second option as there are lesser chances of air bubbles forming in and I did the same procedure too.
      Is there any other way of bleeding?

      For many, they request for a longer video. But hey TH-cam has a feature to speed up the video. Maybe will make a short of this video. Thanks for your feedback! 🙌🏼
