You forgot to mention that when you run the Generate WO or the PMWOGENCronTask, it will use the Generate Ahead By + Lead. For example I have a lead=10 and generate ahead by = 5, therefore it will look 15 days before the estimated start date. I recommend not setting the Generate Ahead By because the padding can easily be varied using the Lead field.
Hey Team, This is a great video, kudos for such a detailed preview on the module. I would love to know something more on PPM and Job Plam (JP). If a JP of a version is associated to the PPM and it has been generating work orders, and then if the JP is updated to a newer version (making it ACTIVE). Will the PPM automatically associate itself with the JP of the latest ACTIVE version?
Yes, once the Job plan revision is made Active, it is the one applied with a PM. A Job Plan at PNDREV (Pending Revision) can not be applied to a work order.
