this is kinda old but do you know if you can replace the wick on these i just got one from my dad and it works and everything but the wick seems about done
I do not EDC a ferro rod but have them everywhere in bags, lol...I mean they all work well BUT some have like misc metal so otjher addatives alow for longer burning sparks but I dont jahve a brand specifically to suggest just that the bigger and fatter the better lol
darn as you can see I dont have the original ring maybe ebay has parts Ill be looking myself lol OR an antique store you may find a broken one cheap for parts

Are ya joking? Because a lot of these were made using shells in WW1 and 2 even up through Vietnam
