- After learning of his illness involving complete loss of skin pigmentation, Bob Langmore realizes that if his secret is widely known, it will ruin the lives of his entire family. Not knowing what to do, he simply runs away from his wife Darlene and daughter Eva, secluding himself in a small northern town. Eight years later, when his daughter goes missing, Bob is willing to sacrifice everything to find her and bring her home.

The narration sounds like John Goodman.
Honestly, that's one of the most sane reason to go to an abandoned insane asylum I've ever heard in movie history. Kudos to the writers for at least making it a logical if not impulsive and dangerous thing to do.
The invisibility is for mental health.
It slowly takes over him and he doesnt want his family to see him at his worst.
He feels more and more invisible and shut off to the world when his mental health gets worse.
His daughter goes through the same thing and they use each other as support knowing that they are both struggling with mental health and feeling invisible.
this is more like a superpower, also isnt he naked and its winter there lol

She’s the counting kid that disappears for weeks, and the parents are like “it’s just her up to one of her classic pranks, she’s so silly ha ha ha”! You ever hear something this is so dumb, but people went along with it anyways. I feel like that’s this! Especially because it’s a movie, somebody thought it, someone wrote it down, someone read it and recommended it, it got approved and put in the movie. so anytime you see something so unearthly stupid, just think it was more than one person that thought that was a good idea!
