Jordan Travel New Rule and Regulations | Jordan Visa for Indians | Stay | Insurance | Currency

- In this video, I am giving information about travel rules and regulations for Jordan and visas, SIM cards, Currency Exchange, etc. There so the best places to visit in Amman and other cities like the Dead Sea.
❃ 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
- Passport (Valid at least 6 months)
- Full 2-dose vaccination certificate.
- Return ticket to the same country or other countries for exit purposes from Jordon.
- Hotel or Hostel Booking (At least 1 Day for address purpose - Pay at Hotel also will be fine
- Jordon Pass (Not Mandatory but Visa Fees can be waived if have one)
❃ 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹:
Jordan is one of the countries for Visa On Arrival for Indians. The maximum stay for an Indian on the visa is 30 days but still, there are no final days, the immigration officer will decide how many days they want to give you to stay. If there your return ticket and visa date is not matching then for the extra days you have to pay 1 JD per day. There is a catch on Visa and Jordan Pass which you can find below.
❃ 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀:
If you have Jordan pass then the big benefit is you do not need to pay visa fees as it's included in the pass otherwise you need to pay 40 JD. Another benefit is there will be less process on visas and less time for visa questioning also otherwise they might ask more in detail. Jordan Pass must be in hard copy as soft copy might have an issue with QR Reading.

About travel insurance, you can buy it from www.godigit.com/ as they did not ask me to show but it's required so better to carry and also good for emergency use.
❃ 𝗦𝗜𝗠 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗱
As we need SIM cards to call home or in the country to hostel or hotel then you must be having SIM. There are 3 mobile internet operators in Jordan: Umniah, Zain, and Orange Jordan.
❃ 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲:
There are so many ATMs to withdraw money and it will be best if you have a forex card. I am using Niyo Global Card which has 0 markups. Also, I will recommend you to carry USD so you have to carry less amount with you and can use it in other countries as well, so here JOD to INR will be applicable.

Hey Tasneem, I have a friend who works in Jordan, so I'm going to stay at their place for the first night. So I won't be booking any stay for that night. So how should we say this at visa process?
you can say I am going to stay with relative and take his number and address if visa officer asks you for detail Or Just book the stay which you can cancel after entering the country
Do we need to bring Jordanian Dinar cash to pay for the visa on arrival or do they accept credit cards?
They accept card also I saw that at the counter
But I paid in Jordanian dinar which I was carrying with me (40 Jordanian dinar)

If you buy Jordan pass you don't have to pay Visa fee at the airport, they will give you directly stamp

@@bilalpatwari123 Hi. There were no problems whatsoever. I had to pay like 60 dollars I imagine. They checked the hotel reservation, and asked if I have enough cash on me, which I did. They saw that I had an American Visa and that was good enough I guess
