    Thank you, great tips today! Oil breaks up oil, if you get a little oil based paint on your skin you can clean it off with any cooking oil instead of using paint thinner. This also works if the kids get pine pitch in their skin or their hair.

    I follow Andrea Jean cleaning. She’s got some great tips! As far as the shaving cream, I also use the shaving cream in my stainless steel sink. I spray a little bit of the shaving cream in the sink and scrub it around and then rinse it and then I dry it with a towel and it makes it very shiny and it smells good too. I’ve also use shaving cream and a toothbrush by putting a little bit of shaving cream on the toothbrush and rubbing it on the rubber parts of tennis shoes.
    Thanks Kallie for your tips. I always learned something new in watching you. 😊

    I use dawn dish soap. Not the off brand. Just the plain blue one. I squirt it on the grease stain let it sit for a few days then launder. I gets grease stains out that have been in the dryer multiple times. The key is letting the garment sit. I'll let it sit up to a week. I'm horrible with getting my shirts dirty. It always works.

    • @1lmp1
      @1lmp1 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @lauraguida8482 ofcourse Dawn, or any dishwashing liquid works well in removing oil and grease stains. They are formulated specifically to remove the same from dishes, why not then from fabrics. For easier removal, before running them through washing cycle, moisten the spot area, add a drop of Dawn to the site, rub with a toothbrush and let it work a few minutes. I prefer to rince the site well before starting the washing cycle or I will have a bubble bath in the washer. 😊

    I am an Optician. Please DO NOT use hand sanitizer on your sunglasses!! It will ruin the lenses. Especially Ray-Ban lenses.

    • @kathywiseley4382
      @kathywiseley4382 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      The alcohol or the gel? Because most of the lens wipes that you buy to clean your glasses are alcohol-based.

    • @lauramorgan1383
      @lauramorgan1383 5 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

      @ the alcohol is the problem. It will break down the coatings as well as destroy some frame materials. Also, those wipes are not recommended either. You should wash your glasses with warm water and mild dish soap. This rinses anything off your lenses. Debris on lens while cleaning is the biggest cause of scratches. Then dry with a clean, tightly woven cloth like a tea towel, cloth baby diaper, or old T-shirt that is clean. The microfiber cloth we give you is for any smudges at the end.

    • @DrMaryVision

    🎉🎉🎉 on the technology tips! Funny story: I had sent a text shortcut years ago that does not apply to me anymore. Well, it still keeps popping up and it’s obnoxious, but I haven’t taken the time to look and see how to get rid of it because I don’t remember how I did it. ❤

    The reason why most people DON’T park by the cart corral is because people are so careless and may bang into your car while returning their carts. They just shove them or sometimes park it nearby and the wind blows them around. I’ve seen people block the front or back of strangers cars already there with their discarded carts 😢

    I also park next to the SAME cart return every time so I don't have to remember where I parked.

    Lestoil was a product in the 60’s. Haven’t seen or heard of it in ages! I didn’t know it was still around. Thank you!!
    Your baby is yummy gorgeous!!
    Her name is Andrea Jean. 😁
    The phone tricks are great. My adult children will be better at this than I but maybe they don’t know them yet. Anyway, they can help me! So again, thank you. ❤

    Another note about using non gel shaving foam is it removes feces odor ...nurse's would use after cleaning up patients messes...even when moms would get feces on them or kids playing with their poop, hand soap or other cleaners don't remove odor...only shaving foam like barbesol

    To open tight shoe lace knots we apply corn starch to them. It appears to me that it is not the stated "friction" that makes them easier to loosen. Opening knots on ropes or shoe laces seems to me not causing friction but rather covering the minute burs in the material, hence they slip open easier. Friction usually tightens.

    There’s no need to have different socks, totally agree! I do black, white, grey in various lengths. But also, do we really have to match socks w lots of patters on kids, or adults? lol 😆also a towel takes up way less space flattened in a bag IMO

    I like to park far away from the store to get my steps in unless its raining..I always return my cart regardless. Those cheeks!❤ I put the flat sheet and pillow cases into the middle of the fitted sheet and fold it over. Keeps everything together!

      @@MichelleLeone66 I've been doing that with my sheets too! I've also seen a hack for sheets where you place them in one of the pillow cases after folding them, then fold over the end and tuck it over if its the kind of case that has that feature. But I like keeping my pillow cases covered like Kallie does because you lay your face on it when sleeping.

    Resolve stain remover gets rid of oil stains easily, even if the garment has gone through the drier. All I do is spray the oil stain and wait 6 min before running the washing machine.

    If you don't want to put toxic cleaning products into the clothes you wear, you can lay the item flat & sprinkle a decent amount of baking soda on the grease stains & leave it to work over night. Shake it out the next day & launder as usual. The salt absorbs the grease, efficiently pulling it out of the fabric. Ta da!

    I hang my good clothes, even "good" t-shirts-saves so much folding time. I fold yard work clothes, pajamas, underwear etc similar to your towel method. You can look up "Army folding a towel. I don't have room for a dresser so the clothes I army fold have to be on shelves or in baskets. Pajamas were so frustrating when I folded them regularly-kept falling off the shelf and coming unfolded. Now, I roll them and if they fall off, they remain folded. Underwear in a basket rolled and stored on the short end (like pretzel rods in a cylinder container) enable me to see all the underwear at once and I can choose the tattered ones to work in the yard. Socks, same way. Yard work clothes rolled and stored in a tiny dresser-more fit like this and I can, again, see all the shirts at once.

    #8 can also be used to send yourself a reminder at a later date and time.
    #17 I use this technique to roll my workout shirt, workout shorts and underwear all in one roll. I do this for an entire weeks worth of workouts. That way when I walk into the closet all I have to to is grab one roll.
    Why does the title state 19 and you only show 18?
