    I've used this product as well. In stores here I can buy just the clear gloss from Loreal or the toning gloss. Now I've been coloring my hair for years and with Covid going on for the past year have not gone for the regular hair trims as normal. So as a result I have very very thick very dry brittle hair especially of course the ends that desperately need to be cut. The first one I used was the black toning gloss. I was incredibly surprised to find that for the first time in ages, not only did my hair look shinier than even the times after doing a fresh dye but my hair actually felt like hair and not straw. I was able to comb through style, all of that and this product was fantastic. I had bought the clear glossier a few days later just because I wasn't sure personally if I "needed" the toner but wanted to maintain the shine and conditioner in my hair. I thought after using the black toner that maybe I had used more than necessary so with the clear I was a little more conservative. With the clear I found I got the shine and conditioning but it didn't "feel" quite as great as the toning gloss. I'm not sure if it's because my hair has been so dry and porous that the bit of color helped fill the pores more than the clear or that I should have used closer to the same amount. Regardless, as a drugstore product I'm so incredibly happy that I could go from having to fight the neverending knots that came from my ends being SO dry to being able to use a comb with no issue at all through very thick lower back length hair. I would recommend this product even when not on sale to every person I know. I realize the video says the same but for me and anyone else over 50 this is so huge to not have to spend piles of money going to a salon for the same result and that never seems to last longer than the styling polishes and flat irons they use the day you go in. Oh and just a side note my second use of the black toning gloss, I used a bit less, wrapped my hair in a towel and kept in on for over half hour, more like using a masque and am finding that all the benefits seem to be lasting over the 2 weeks they suggest on the package. I know everyone is different but thought it worth mentioning. Have great one!

    To clean your tub. Try coconut oil. I swear that stuff cleans anything. I've used it to remove sharpie from walls, waterproof makeup, henna stains and even gum from shoes. I learned the trick from Jenna Marbles when she used coconut oil to remove oil paint from her wood table and Kermit.

    I can't find the Le Color Gloss where I live, but Wella also does a similar product called Color Fresh Mask. :) They don't have black, but I use their chocolate touch shade which will tone down some of the copper from my old, damaged and dyed hair while I grow out my natural. Makes my hair glossy too! I'm a fan of this new trend of products because it's temporary enough to use safely but also pigmented enough to actually make a difference. I'm tired of having to dye my roots every month for years now, I just want to use something to give my hair some "oomph" and leave it alone.

    Hi I used the for blonde and I loved it, left the hair very soft, if you use it with the hair really wet you will used less products and never comb your hair like that you going break it, only comb after you have the conditioner and used your fingers first, and you have a beautiful hair

    Your hair is always beautiful! As a Latina, my natural color is that same dark brown as you, but now with gray. I have it professionally dyed every six weeks to a coppery red. Would this interfere with my next professional appointment, as in causing a clash of chemicals or something? How long BEFORE my next appointment should I stop using this?

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So it lasts up to 10 days (depending on how often you shampoo) and can be removed with a clarifying shampoo. So I'd say don't reapply within 12ish days of your appointment. However I just saw that on the website, it says "Will not lift, cover, or lighten grays." so if you have NEW grays that have grown in before your appointment this probably won't tint them.

    And after,do you just rinse it off or you have to shampoo and put conditioner in your hair?
    Thank you,and you hair do look beautiful after!

    • @slashedbeauty

      It won’t work on grays, the brand says so. Tints are extremely translucent and not meant to be used as a normal pigmented hair color- more of a refresh on natural or already colored hair but it’s not adding a ton of color.

I love blue black hair, so I've been looking for something like these products that are not as damaging as dye, because I have the same issues on my tips of previous blond hair. So they lighten up a bit. Idk, I'm waiting for tommorow to see my hair in the sunlight and see how I like the tips. I may just use box die until I cut out the tips.
