- Thank you to our ship's amazing communications department for the footage of Catherine reuniting with Aly for the first time in 30 years! And also special thanks to Eric Beerlage for generously sharing his drone footage of the ship with me! And of course thanks to Catherine, Aly and Arnie for letting me shadow them on their special journey and reunion! It surely does take a village to put these videos together and I am grateful to belong to such a wonderful floating village!

I low key wish u had thousands of vlogs like this I could just binge ❤ I’ve seen other mercy ships videos and they are all fine BUT when u watch yours u legitimately feel Gods presence and his love radiating from all the people staff and stories even something simple like the engine room video. Everyone has this we are fulfilling Gods will Holy Spirit glow and it spreads to us that get to watch u feel the stir and can’t help but be so encouraged despite all we see in the world we are reminded once again GOD IS IN CONTROL! Man good stuff lol

To be able to capture even just glimpses of what God is up to on the ground level of the ship is a gift I do not take for granted and I am beyond thankful that you do not simply watch or "listen about" but feel God's presence as I do through the amazing people who work here and give of their skills and time. What a great storey, life is full of special moments like these, I just got back from Papua New Guinea Mission Building with my daughter for 2 wks, maybe in a few years I could take some or all of my kids to spend some time on the AFM, where I met my wife.
Where you met your wife!? Another love boat couple! What a special thing that would be. If I ever have kids I would love for them to see the ship one day as well :) Sounds like you are already brining them on such wonderful and meaningful adventures!
Yeah, its kinda tricky to save money on a Chefs wages, but with Gods help and some creative thinking all things are possible.:]:], I met my wife Abbe on the AFM about 16 yrs ago in Liberia we have 4 kids, Mercy 12, Gideon almost 11, James 10, and Silas 5.

Wow - I've been following your adventures since you were serving with Mercy Ships and this is hands down my favorite video. Catherine is wonderful. But really this is a story of how wonderful God is and what He can do through people who yield to Him.
