From 1995 indeed, but the tracks were probably recorded - maybe even released - in the 70's as rubix187 said. You can actually hear the surface noise of vinyl records on some tracks, so it the tracks featured on this cd must have been released earlier.
@Peter Ras I'm afraid brother, this is Tubbys. If you know his Jazz fusion and that accentuated but pulled-back bass, you never confuse this for Scientist. All the engineers had their signature style. Scientist would mix this very differently with his notorious use of low and high pass filters, mic'd drum, basement effects, trailing echoes and lifted drums that would literally blow your amp and speakers if you werent careful. Scientist took dub to a whole new level brother. Peace ✌️
