  • Welcome, creative friends! In today’s video, I’ll show you how to create a Valentine’s junk journal using upcycled envelopes in a traveler’s notebook style (4.5”x9”). This project is perfect for using up your old 12x12 scrapbook paper pads and leftover paper scraps! Whether you use envelopes with or without windows, they make great bases for interactive elements like peek-through windows or storage pockets.
I’ll walk you through the entire process-cutting, assembling, binding with a simple 5-hole pamphlet stitch, and adding decorative touches. You’ll also get tips on how to make the most of your paper scraps for tags, pockets, and more!
Would you buy a handmade journal like this? Let me know in the comments!
✨ Stay tuned for my upcoming flip-through of #JunkJournalJanuary and a tutorial on using up all those leftover paper bits from your projects!
