Concertina book construction -- collaged with gelli prints with things from the dinner table

Making books is one of my passions. I have so many gelli prints from my printing sessions with things from the dinner table, so why not try to use a part of them, making this concertina book. A simple construction where you can make the size and with as many spreads as you want.

Thanks Frida. Giv it a try, what can go wrong it’s just paper and if you don’t like it you have tried. You can also make your collages on thick watercolor paper, a canvas or a cradle board

What do you do with your books? Do you gift them or sell?

Nothing, when I am don I look at them a couple of times and store them, perhaps it is a book I use when I teach and sometimes sell them.

This is a good idea to use gelli prints. To create little bits of bautiful art. Do you have Temu in your country? They have some of those rolls. Are are not cheap, but I think they are afordable. Thanks for share 😊

Yes it’s a great way. In my humble opinion Temu is a bad Chinese company, stealing other designers product and copy them and in worse quality. I have some stencils form Stencil Girl and Temu has the exact same.@@susanasilva2737

@@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst i got one textured roll i bought in a local store. I didn't bought more because they had not in that moment, but they do beautiful marks so i'll try to go there so see if they have more. You can do your own rolls. Maybe that can be the theme of one of your videos 😃
