I have to hear this again periodically because it is both so beautiful and so unbelievably hideous a challenge to even think about playing successfully! Hat's off to JKP! Just wouldn't have been fantastic to hear what Franz Liszt would have done with this triumph of a composition!
This is both an extraordinary and an annoying piece because of how abstract it is. You love it or hate it. I am still not sure how I feel but I return to it so judge it how you may. Cheers!
