For beginners and ppl that do not play a lot. Good players shred the felt in one session which makes the balls worthless. Pressure is irrelevant once the felt is worn.
I have one of these and for 2 years, I’ve also been using the Ball Rescuer from Spain, which kinda does the same thing. For practice and social play, I think these are brilliant. You’ve always got a half decent set of balls to use. True, felt loss does become an issue the longer they’re in rotation but for less crucial use they can be used multiple times more than the lifetime you’d normally get from a can; that’s a money saver and fewer balls in the trash.
@@webbezzy The Bounce is nicer, flashier and easier to use; Ball Rescuer does just as a good a job, it's just closure of the container and attaching/detaching the bike pump is more of a faff; if I'd never seen the Bounce I'd still be happy with it. I do prefer the Bounce but the Ball Rescuer achieves the same outcome at a lower price but with less convenince.
If the ball felt is still in good condition, I think this device can come in handy. Otherwise, you can’t replace felt on balls. It’s not just the bounce that gets worn down.
I have a device that repressurizes balls. They really will keep the bounce, but they get smoother and lighter by losing its fuzz. The lighter balls have a whole other playability, gives way less feel, fly way further and spin is less effective. Definitely extend its life, but less than you may think
Felt is still an issue, that's true. But you can make your purchase based on only one key factor instead of two. Since I bought a thing like this (my pressure can is way more simple) I only select by the felt. Which now can be a natural felt, no more micro plastic in the environment. And I no longer care about the pressure loss, so it's just a matter of time when this pays out. But the price is way too high, you will need to use it for five years straight to get your money's worth out of it.
Not quite a bargain. I ordered a simple one from Decathlon. Transparent, you put two halves together by screwing and seal with a ring. Car valve in it, mini pump (with pressure gauge!) included and there you go. I can even see If the balls collapse, I can adjust the pressure, I just have to remember to leave the Pump in my bag. But for less than half the price.
Integrity desolves from new balls after hitting hard, meaning you could pump them up but they will lose air again pretty fast. Felt is another issue. To be honest, i have the idea that tennisballs in earlier days just lasted much longer. We're getting screwed. But not only with tennis balls....
FIR video # part 2, addendum If it is better then opening a fresh can of balls after having used balls in them, WHAT IF YOU OPEN A FRESH CAN BALLS , PUT THEM IN RIGHT AWAY AND TEST THEM AND COMPARE TO A NEW CAN???
I was thinking there might be a water sprayer with a fill cap big enough to fit a tennis ball. And pressurize the container with the pump handle to about 14 psi, could work. I bet you tube diy tool maker can convert a water sprayer, they just need some arm twisting to do it.
Mine is like this. Is a pressure cooking pan with a motorcycle tyre valve installed. I didn't put a pressure gauge since the tyre pump I use already has one. All put together with JB Weld.

I'm glad you said "click". Or stop when you hear the "click"

Which one would you recommend Ball Rescuer or this one? Considering the cost of one is almost half of the other one. Thanks

I use the Head X4 when i have only 4 Balls and Pressure Ball for 8 Balls (for Training 2 x 8 Balls) very good products.

@@sebastiandomagala9233 Pressureball tennis pressuriser is 29 euros and holds 8 balls
Cool device, as long as the integrity of the balls hold up.
$147.00! Can buy a lot of new balls with the money!

Pressureball tennis pressuriser is over 3 times cheaper and holds 8 balls

It’s good, but too expensive $110…I passed.

A little pricey. Also wish it was either a 6 ball load or 3 ball since most of us in the US have 3 ball cans.
How do we know how much pressure is in it? It doesn’t have gauge to show the psi.
It has a pressure sensor that beeps when the required pressure has been achieved.
I think this is similar to the Gexco Ball Saver from the 70s/80s?

How much this thing cost?
There are those small kegs like containers that can hold 40 tennis balls, and pressurized them at the same time! 😆😆😝😝😅🤣
The price is ridiculous. If you don't mind paying such a ridiculous price, I'm sure you wouldn't mind just buying new tennis balls.
Just buy new balls don't be cheap😅
To save ecological disaster with tennis balls this PLASTIC device was developed to create even bigger issues with the plastic waste😂
Tennis balls are a consumable. Open can play until felt is no good throw away. Open new can and enjoy your tennis and don’t do this nonsense.
