And I also miss "google android emulator (API Level 25) (local install)" and "Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM) (local install). what should I choose/do?

@@hacked101 I have a few legacy apps which I want to upgrade AS is not so helpful for that and the built-in gradle gives some incoherent misleading messages, that is why I wonder if I can load the app and upgrade it in VS ... Hear the final step is manually sign it with gradle
