    It was shocking to see the differences and then similarities in our deals. Mine is also a 19GT premium with PP1 and the 10R80. The sticker price was right at $51,000 here in the states. There were some rebates and of course I negotiated price quite a bit. I also purchased a 6 year/100,000 ESP bumper to bumper warranty from Ford with the car. I only put a couple thousand down payment, but because of lower taxes and a lower negotiated price point our numbers were eerily close. I got the price down to $38,600.
    There was $2000 in taxes, state registration fees and such, and the cost of the warranty itself. I wound up financing $43,000 bottom line. I only make payments monthly, but also put extra on my payments. The account shows that the extra payments are applied, but they also take the amount off the next required payment. Currently I’m not required to send them any more money until February 2022 because I’ve gotten ahead on the payments so far. I guess I could’ve spent the extra money on some more of the mods I want but haven’t done yet lol 😝

      It's weird how they let you make extra payments but it isn't really extra haha. Nice to not have to worry about it for a year though 😂

      I'm a little different. So mine is a 20' model, pp1, and premium also. Ordered from the factory I payed close to $56k after taxes, extended warranty (which was a mistake on my part). Then I paid an extra $4k for undercoating, rust proofing, interior protection, ceramic coating, and ppf. For a grand total of $60k. I put down I think $7k and pay once a month. But.....I have 0% interest for the life of the loan. A perk Ford was giving as an incentive because of the pandemic. So I don't put extra payments in since it wouldn't do much for me anyway. Yes it would pay off sooner, but it's not saving me any more money.

    Thanks for the info. I'm having a twister orange gt built and plan on putting $20k down. If it takes longer than November to build, I may put $30k down idk. It makes sense to pay in future dollars if inflation sticks, while more money down gives me monthly freedom. Don't really care either way at this point; it'll be paid off most likely a year after I take the keys

    • @CanadianCruisin
      @CanadianCruisin  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Awesome. The orange looks so nice. Only reason I put money down is to get the payment where I wanted it. And like you say pay it off then the time comes and you're free to go anyways 💪
